lighweight, smooth, functional
I spent hours searching for a good case for my Surface Pro 2017, nothing looked good enough, eventually I gave a try to Kensington version and it turned out to be heavy and unreasonably expensive, so returned and got that one from MoKo. PERFECT fit, lighter than Kensington, the shape is slimmer, hole cuts are smother, and... $12 cheaper, so you can make your own conclusions :) I would recommend it.UPDATE: after 4 month of use: The case is still perfect, all ports are precisely cut so it is easy to connect USB hubs, eternal SSDs or headphones and I have no problem with frequently detaching and attaching the keyboard. I enjoy the rubber handle.UPDATE: 10 month later the case looks as new and Surface doesn't have a single scratch despite trips to the beach, countless airport checks at the customs and accidental floor drops from the reader falling asleep.Just one thing to mention - one of my wired headphones with a L-angle plug requires an adapter to fit inside the headphone-jack with this case.UPDATE: 1 year and 11 month later :) - the tablet as well as the case itself are still perfectly intact (that thin plastic bar at the bottom next to keyboard is also fine - it is a bit elastic, but turned out to be strong enough to survive for almost 2 years). I have to notice that I had little pleasure unplugging small USB drives, fingerprint reader, or Logitech adapter for MX Master mouse from the single tablet's USB port - these things are so small and short, that once plugged in with the case on there is very little left for fingers to grab, so it is hard to pull out the device (that's what she said).P.S. BTW I use this case with Surface Pro 6 and my Mom with Surface Pro 5 (2017), so it fits perfectly both models. I 'm sure that other owners of aforementioned models, who claimed that the case doesn't' fit, simply got a defective products. Good luck!P.S.S. This February (2020) I've got Surface Pro 7 (that one with a USB-C port and Iris Plus Graphics) from my employer, they bought me this case (I asked for it) and the keyboard with a builtin fingerprint reader - the case perfectly fits version 7, exactly the same way (!) as version 5 and 6, so I still would recommend it.

sturdy, functional
Great case at a great price. It seems to protect the device well, the strap to hold the keyboard cover in place is functional and out of the way during normal use. Have not used the hand strap on the back much but it does help sometimes. easy access to the ports. The charging cable is a little snug, a little extra press is needed to make sure its charging. I personally like this, it releases stress on the connector by having the case pinch it. the pen clip is also stiff, once again a benefit for me. when i throw it in my bag or at work i know the pen is help secure. when using the device i place the pen on the screen near the storage location and the magnets hold it well enough. the only thing im not super happy with is access to the kickstand, i have to turn the device around to flip it out, rather than a quick flip with my left hand when its in my lap, a minor inconvenience that is well worth the protection and added benefit.

Almost Perfect
Update - August 2019: Still using this case and it works fine.Original review - December 2018:I have a Pro LTE version. When I ordered this case, I was using the MoKo slim cover case (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017129RHQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The benefit of the MoKo cover is it keeps the bottom of the keyboard clean and it's not bulky, but I really wanted to try a case that I could use the device's kickstand.I've only had this case for 4 days and this is what I've experienced so far.I really do like using the device's kickstand. I have the most recent version pen and to avoid blocking access to the kickstand, I place the pen with the point facing up and little farther up in the clip. This hasn't caused any problems and the pen is really, really, really secure. I like the pen holder better on this case better than the strap on my former case because it holds it firmly close to the case. All the cutouts seem fine and easy to access. I've only used the usb (for docking station) and the charger. The corner strap that holds the keyboard closed works well and is not noticeable when not in use. The hand strap on the back is well, handy. Especially helpful since when I write and hold the device vertically (with the top to the right), the bottom edge of the case (where the keyboard connects) is loose...The downside to this case is the looseness of the piece along the bottom. I just wish it was stiffer plastic. It seems to bend easy and I'm careful not to pick it up by the bottom. Also I've noticed the case is loose in the area in front of where the charger attaches. I imagine it's not easy designing something to span across the bottom and allow for the keyboard to be attached.Overall, I'm glad I purchased this case and I'm going to use it as long as I can. If something happens to the bottom piece, I'll come back and update my review.
