HOT!!!
I can handle very hot stuff but WOW! this stuff is strong, the guy above me who said use the eye dropper was smart i shouldve listened to him, this stuff isnt a joke, its not something to let anyone eat straight from the bottle its just too hot. it should be used as a food additive only. the reason i say that you need an eye dropper is because it is incredibly runny and you dont want to put in more than you can handle, it has an incredible flavor, i used 1 small drop of the 357 mad dog pepper extract and a pinch of crushed naga jolokia into a 5 pound pot of chili and had to drain some of the heat out of it (which is incredibly difficult) and it still stayed pretty hot. its very good and very hot use with caution

Hot!
This is ridiculously hot, but well worth the money. Before, to add a little heat to chili, nacho cheese, tacos, or whatever else I like to have hot, I had to add some kind of hot sauce. However, no matter how hot whatever I was using was, by the time I added enough in to bring the heat up, it's all I could taste! With this, I can make my chili as hot or mild as I want, and still have it taste like chili. And because I only use a few drops at a time, this stuff will last me forever! To some, it may seem expensive for a small bottle of what they think is hot sauce, but it is so much more!

This stuff almost sent me to mast for hazing
Bought this while going through technical school and at the end of the schooling and everyone game decided to try it on chips. This stuff is pretty hot not going to lie, but the stomach ache I got after was nothing I ever experienced. One of the guys that tried it was found on the floor kicking the wall with our head chain of command on the other side. Make sure to have TUMs or some antacid on hand to prevent the stomach problem. It was definitely an experience .

For Hotheads and Fireeaters Only!
Amazingly hot! This pepper extract is very potent. I use rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling this. It is important that anyone trying this understand that it can possibly be harmful. I had one person have an allergic reaction and another that had uncontrollable vomiting. Hiccups, sweats, runny nose, tears, and second degree burns are possible. The effects last from 10 minutes to several hours after. If you do not heat properly the results can include stomach aches, nausea, vomiting, feeling faint, as well as severe abdominal pain. Use in small amounts until you learn your tolerance level. Two drops will make 5 qts of chili hot enough for 90% of people. Sauce responsibly- never use this as a trick.

As hot as advertised, just not practical (.. or product quality is unpredictable)
I was pretty excited to receive this product, but also super disappointed when I saw the consistency to be that of super thick tar.I stuck a paper clip in it, and stirred it as much as I could, even tried warming it up in a pot of boiling water. The stuff still remained super goopy, and far from a liquid or even an oil.Tipping it upside down, there's no way to get anything out.. I read about some people using eye droppers, but that would be impossible with my bottle. The only way I could get anything out was scraping it out with a toothpick or something similar. I tried applying it to my noodle bowl that evening, and I couldn't get the stuff off of the toothpick with which I scooped it out, since it was stuck to it like glue. If it's supposed to be a "paste", a jar would be a lot more practical to use.I did try it, and it was extremely hot (as I'd hoped). However, I want something that's practical to use, and this just wasn't.Reading through the reviews, I see some people that can "drip" theirs or use eye dropper, and some that complain about it being too thick. I wonder if it's batches that are aged more or poor product control or what.. I don't know, but given the high cost, I'd shy away from gambling which batch I get and having to deal with refunds and re-gambling, since it's not a returnable product.

Heat enthusiast since 1999
I read most of the comments before purchasing this extract, and I feel like they gave it to much hype. The bottle was delivered two days early, which was fantastic and the bottle was new, so overall great service. Moreover to the product itself, once I opened it kind of smelled like vanilla extract and once I tasted it off a toothpick it wasn't as hot as people made it out to be. Although the extract did have a sting to it, not to be confused with heat. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of heat this little bottle dished out. I will still of course continue to use this as food additive, because I truly believe it won't overwhelm the foods I place it in with its heat considering it wasn't that hot or potent. I do recommend purchasing it though, I love adding more hot sauces and extracts to my collection and this is one to definitely think about adding if you just love having hot stuff around. Also great gift to a amateur/expert hot sauce lover, not for beginners. I give it 11/20 chili peppers on a heat scale to put in my perspective for those who can't be bothered to understand the scoville heat scale. That's is my evaluation on the Mad Dog 357 pepper extract, have a stupendous shopping experience and a lovely day!Update- it's currently Nov 10th 2016, I feel like a moron because I didn't allow the extract to mix and then set for a few hours before using. So it wasn't hot the first time I tried it. Fast forward into the future, I being a stupid hot sauce lover took it to school and well long story short I got suspended for a week and burned the mouths of myself a close friend and half the staff at the disciplinary department attending to me.Not a extract to mess with it you're just starting!!! This is like nothing I had tasted before hand. And I had tried the reaper slingblade and the reaper puree.
