It seems like the main beam light type on this headlight is like the winning the lottery, some are getting an H7 socket, while others are getting an H1 socket. You have no idea which one it will be until this headlight turns up on your doorstep. I bought new H7 LED bulbs because so much recent feedback said it was definitely H7 - but guess what, my socket is a freaking H1 aaaaarrrggghhh. Time to get the H1's now. What a pain. Other than that I didn't have any problems with aligning the headlight with the bodywork, but the sidelight did need polarity reversed - why is this still a problem? Enough people have commented on that already, they should just fix at the Chinese factory. Filled the entire headlight with cool white LED bulbs, looks good, though main beam projector not really suitable for LED, its actually dimmer than the old cloudy headlight with halogen.

This was installed on a 2011 Suby Outback. Once you pull off all the push pins and bolts to remove the bumper cover, the lights were easy to install. These lights list the H1 low beam and the 9005 high beam bulbs and that's just what these housings take. The factory low beam bulb on my 11 Outback assemblies was an H7, these new assemblies don't take an H7 and are wired for the H1, just like the item description states. The assembly plugs right into the factory wiring plug, and all the lights worked as they should have. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because one of the assemblies was missing the low beam marker light bulb, the other had it though. The lights really work well and the low beams with the new H1's are just as good as the factory H7's. I'd suggest buying extra plastic push pins in a variety of sizes since I found a few that were missing and broke a couple during removal.

Fit well and came setup for H7 bulbs but had to swap wires for side lamps. Note that the H7 bulbs that I had purchased could be turned into H1 bulbs by removing a small tab. I got the blacked out version which looks okay but I think now that the chrome version looks better. I do not like the white side lamps and didn't realize I was getting those. Ordering was a little clumsy but they came faster than stated so that was good. I haven't driven around with them but don't expect any issues. The assembly connector comes tie-wrapped to the connector post because it doesn't fit on the post but it seems to be okay.

I will start off by saying the listing is wrong. This headlight takes an H7 low beam, NOT and H1 as it states.This headlight takes the following bulbs:H7 low beam9005 high beam7440 turn signal (included)194 driving lamp (included)These 4th gen Outbacks have a poor headlight design from the factory, no way around it. So I figured I'd try something else, and something that maybe looks a bit more sleek. Another reason I ordered these was for the larger low beam projector (about .5" larger than factory).Lights arrived well packed, clean, and undamaged. They feel like a pretty high quality lens, which is rare nowadays. The rest of the light housing is fairly sturdy, as well. They also came with the 194 driving lights in the high beams, and the 7440 turn signal bulbs. These lights do not include the H7 low beam or the 9005 high beam. Well, I installed all my new bulbs, and I was impressed at how sleek everything looks. These are a night and day difference from the factory housings. Takes away from the soccer mom look of the car.I originally ordered a set of LED low beams to add to this set up, too, and found out the listing for these lights was incorrect. The seller was quick to respond, and credited me the price of the LED bulbs that I ordered, without me having to ask.Overall, I would highly recommend these lights, and the seller. Their customer service is outstanding, should you have an issue

These light housings fit perfectly. I have a 2011 Subaru Legacy. The black version looks sharp.Why not 5 stars...1. One of the little parking lights came burnt out. Easy cheap fix.2. Another problem was the side LED lights are wired incorrectly. The polarity on the female side of the little harness just needed to be taken out and reversed on both sides. You can gently push down the little lock pin on the bottom side then pull out. Bend the little pins back up just a little and reverse the sides black to black wires. Then you’re all good.

If you want a light that will last you about 1 year and the seller will not call you back to discuss return options this is the product for you. These were great for just about the one year mark then they started taking on water. I’ve tried contacting the seller numerous times and they won’t return my emails. Please don’t waste your money on these.It gets worse. after 14 months the other light developed multiple hairline cracks which allowed moister to seep into this lens as well. If someone can get in touch with this seller they're a good person. BUYER BEWARE. These lights aren't worth the box that they ship them to you in. And the seller won't even respond to you to try to remedy your problem.

Product looks good the fit isn’t perfect drivers side sticks up a little and I put it in the same as the passenger side still need to adjust bulbs but solid piece for the price. Bulbs needed are the H7 and 9005. Not the H1 as noted in description

These were great. Look great. Only issue was had to order lights separately and adjust them. Took a bit of work. Full assembly lights worth the extra cost.
