Hard-Krome Sideburner - Chrome 44-6080 for Suzuki C109R (2008-09)

2008 C109RT I bought a HK side burner because there are so few options available now and they have lots of good reviews on sound. However imho it was a big mistake on these pipes. Huge globulous welds one of which is at the inside of the pipe right at the head restricting the exhaust. Also the weld at the rear bracket was so thick on mine that the nuts that are supposed to slide in behind the bolts wouldnt go past the welds. I ended up using two individual lock nuts of my own that were very tricky to get in. The connection between the header pipes to the muffler was impossibly tight. I had to use a hammer and pound em together bending the rear mount bracket metal. Not so bad cosmetically since its behind the exhaust but even then there are two exhaust leaks that cant be sealed, one at the upper pipe connection and another at the back of the rear holding bracket. When riding i often get strong whiffs of exhaust. On the plus side ... They do look great and the sound is bad ass but after a while it wore on me and gives me a head ache unless im wearing ear plugs. Ive ordered other pipes. Id advise against these.
