Rollei Flex Instant Camera - Instant Camera in Retro Design with Integrated Flash, Manual Image Output and Ambient Light Meter - Black

I’ve used several makes of instant camera over the years and recently thought I would try this one~ it’s virtually the same as the Mint TL70 but under a different marketing name. I’m not really impressed ~ colours washed out ~ exposure way off ~ don’t even think about relying on the green correct exposure light on the camera that is supposed to inform you the shot is going to be correctly exposed ~ it doesn’t work and gives wildly inaccurate readings leading to whitewashed shots~ forget also about taking photos in the nice sunny weather UNLESS you pay another £90 for the ND filters that will allow you to get a supposedly correct exposure. The fastest shutter speed is not high enough to cope with the instax mini film of 800 ISO in any sunshine. Sort of defeats the object for me. Nice idea and design but at nearly £1 per wasted shot ~ it’s a no no for most of us who don’t have money to waste. Buy yourself the Leica Sofort for better colours and consistent results or if you want wider photos ~ the Fuji instax wide 300 at half the price. I have both cameras. This one was sent back ~ don’t believe the hype on the net about it. 1st photo is the Rolleiflex/Mint TL70 ~ 2nd the sofort.
