Steinhauser Pocket Combo Micro Series (Red White Blue)

I’m not a frequent Fisher I’ve only been out a few times and have never caught anything until now. Caught my 1st fish with this rod a 14 inch lake bass. Great rod it for beginners it doesn’t tangle and casts easily. Awesome small size that expands, easy to transport in your car without taking up any room and getting tangled on anything. Solid build it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. All and all it’s the perfect fishing rod for me and my kids.

This is my absolute FAVORITE fishing pole. Love the design. Love that it fits perfectly in my tackle box backpack. And love love love how easy it is to carry around with me basically all the time and now have to worry about it fitting in the car or anywhere else. I’ve caught some pretty decent fish on this bad boy :)

Very good quality and material. Bought this for my grandson. I will be looking for two adult sized ones for my wife and me to keep in our jeep.

I purchased one as a backpack rod, and also grabbed some 6lb Spiderwire. Absolutely do not regret that. I've got about 110yds of 6lb braid with 2-3yds of 12lb mono to back it. If you use braid, you MUST use mono to back it. I got snagged on a branch with a 4lb leader and couldn't even snap the leader because I didn't use a backing. The line was just spinning on the reel. The next thing you need to do is get a #12 or larger swivel, to keep the line from falling back through if you snap it. It is a nightmare to restring it.As for the performance: With the 6lb braid, the casting is amazing. The short length is deceptive. I can easily get an accurate 30yd cast with a 1/4oz jighead. On the first day I had the rod out, I caught an 11" brown trout and reeled it in with no problem whatsoever. The reel works well enough, pulling in line quietly and smoothly. After I had it for a few weeks I bought another one as a backup in the car, and I plan on buying two more for my little cousins so they can have some convenient to carry rods for when they go fishing.

Arrived with reel disassembled (3 pieces cover, main assembly, button control). No assembly instructions. Assembled, but could not get it to work. Emailed them, no response. Returned it.

It broke after a few weeks of use. It will not reel the line in
