Overall it looks good, i just expected this to be for a bigger cake! Its basically tasteless, thus goes well with any cake

Bought this cake topper for my 6 year-old daughters' birthday this past weekend, she and her friends loved it. Had local Target store create a cake similar to the one in the picture, except using cupcakes and a layer of buttercream on top. Put the topper on a few hours before the party and it looked as if the cake was designed that way. This is the 2nd time I've used cake and cupcake toppers, and they work well. If you have a baker make the cake, ask them to discount it without the image, Target reduced the price by $5.00. I also bought the Smurf figures here on Amazon to put around the image, cake looked great.

I had such a hard time trying to apply it. I ended up ruining the cake topper because it was just too hard for me. It may have been me being simply impatient, just a warning to people who haven't had experience with one of these before like myself very very delicate.

Two expert bakers (friends) were making the cake for a Smurf party and neither could get the image to transfer properly. We followed the guidelines *exactly* and finally had to use a knife to painstakingly cut the image out, leaving bad borders and weird folds. Please see attached image for what it looks like on a cake!

The decoration worked great on the cake and was easy to apply. The application adhesed to the cake immediately. Fast shipping and Excellent service from the seller! I would definately recommend this to any parent needing Smurf decor for a birthday party.
