Metra 70-2104 Radio Wiring Harness for 06-Up GM Black

Nothing.works just fine

I purchased this radio wiring harness for my son's 2007 Cobalt. Connected perfectly and save a lot of cutting of the wires. The only downside is you have to run a separate keyed switch wire which is already in the wiring harness you just have to run it to a fuse. Simple to do. I was going to buy one of these from my local stereo shop and they wanted $38.00. Thank you Amazon great products and price and the best part is it was the exact same brand and part number that the stereo shop had.

Everything was super easy until I have to connect the red wire, guess what is coming on the side not sure why but they should put instructions how to connect it.I'm just trying to install it on a 06 Chevy HHR.

Fits my 2010 Pontiac G6. For some reason, it is super hard to find a wiring harness for the newer G6's. But this is it! Take some advise, this harness does not have an ACC wire in the harness, but it does come in the package separately. Hook that wire directly to your aftermarket ACC wire and then use the fuse tap provided to attach it to an ignition powered fuse. It took me 30 min to figure out which fuse to hook it to in order to make the radio turn on with ignition and off with key out AND door opening. I used the 10A heated seats fuse, works like a charm.

Installed this on my 2010 cobalt and it works great. This is the cheaper harness that does NOT retain the door chimes (no seat belt chime, open door chime, and turning signal clicks). Some people thing this is a negative but I LOVE not having the door chimes. Now you can listen to music with the doors open when you're working on your vehicle or cleaning it and such. Seatbelt and clicker lights still show up on the dash though (and blink like crazy) so It's not like you can just ignore it.

I have a 2007 Cobalt LT and searched for any kind of harness that would fit without having to buy the $100+ one that retains door chimes. This one was great for under $15, just had to run a wire to an ignition source(I tapped into the fuse block just below the stereo) and the others were a direct fit. I don't have On-star and there are 3 unused wires after connecting.

Works like it should, but there are 2 different harnesses that PLUG IN to the 07 up gm style, so if you aren't 100 percent sure order both... And there's also 2 different kits that FIT, but the dash cover only works with one...

Have to go into the fuse box for a power accessory wire but that’s a lot easier than it sounds too so no complaints at all
