Ultra Thin Keyboard Cover Protector Skin for Gigabyte Aero 15 15X v8 v8-BK4, Aero 15W 15W-BK4 15.6" i5 i7 GTX 1060

I ordered this for a gigabyte aero laptop (which is quite a large laptop as in the keyboard is wide), it is about an inch too wide for the actual keyboard, on both sides, which throws the keys way off in lining up. This keyboard cover is also as thin as food grade plastic wrap, requested a return immediately and will never order again. I would not recommend this at all and I doubt any of the good reviews are actually written by people who've really purchased this product because it is complete trash. We waited weeks to get it, which I understand as it was coming from China and that's fine, but after waiting weeks for it to arrive and be way oversized, not line up with the keys at all no matter how I place it and be as thin as plastic wrap there's no way this is worth the $7.99 I paid for it.

I've now had this keyboard cover for around 4-5 months. It fits well, much better than Gigabyte's own keyboard cover for this laptop, and there's only a minimal amount of shifting, which is unnoticeable if you're not actively trying to shift the keyboard. Due to using TPU material as opposed to silicone (which the official GIgabyte keyboard cover uses), there's minimal stretching and finger grease is less prevalent on it, and I enjoy the slicker surface. The keyboard cover is durable and definitely does a good job of protecting the keysHowever, one of the strengths of the Aero15 is having a very responsive, clicky keyboard. Unfortunately, TPU doesn't work as well with this as it would on something shallower, like a Macbook Pro. The keys became noticeably mushier to type on and my typing accuracy has gone down a bit, missing keys here and there. Personally, this issue isn't that prevalent and its impact is fairly minimal. Just be wary that the typing experience may be worse with it on.Keep in mind, this fault is due to TPU's nature, and that can hardly be a fault of the manufacturer. If you get a TPU keyboard cover for any laptop, it will likely affect typing that way (varying on the keyboard's depth---MacBooks don't suffer as much change due to being shallower). As such, I'm not detracting a star for it.Overall, it's a good experience.

I wouldn't use this cover all the time, but it will definitely be useful when I know I'm going to be working outside, in the shop, or in other dusty environments. It serves its purpose while being super thin and minimally intrusive, however there's a smaller compromise in dexterity to the key presses with it on.

I have a AERO 15 OLED KD-72US624SP and I was worried that this wouldn't fit but I am happy to say it fits well.

Fits really well and does a great job keeping the dust away.

Not many options are available but this worked for me.
