It's yarn!
I bought several colors. My daughter nitted me a replica of my dog of 17 years, sadly now passed. Best looking giant schnauzer. I have him sitting next to a picture of him and I and his urn on my mantle! It's amazing how many hours you can sit and look at yarn, formed to a shape and see the beauty in it every time. I also made a pair of mittens, they are the warmest, softest mittens I've ever had!

This Yarn is Amazingly Soft
I love this yarn. I have never felt a yarn quite like it. It's almost like those lotion kleenex's in texture. Very very soft. So soft. My favorite chenille yet. So, I made two lap blankets with this. I doubled up the yarn and used a hand crochet technique (no hook). It came out beautifully. It's the family's (and furfamily's) favorite blanket to cuddle under while watching tv.

Beware: This Yarn is Addictive!
This has been my go-to yarn for making couch/nap afghans for myself and my grown kids. Bernat blanket yarn is always reliable; so soft and spongey and very easy to work with, making it perfect for beginner crocheters. As an added bonus, it works up at lightning speed compared to worsted weight yarn, thanks to its heavier weight. Unlike some yarns, your blankets can be easily washed and dryed without issues, which makes it perfect for the cat mats I’ve crocheted for my kitties (who love them!). I only buy it from Amazon in case of emergency, though (when I need a specific color and can’t it find locally), since JoAnn sometimes puts it on 50% off and I shop the sales.

Easy to use especially for knitters with arthritis
I seldom work in just garter stitch but with this yarn is works up with the simple knit both sides stitch and looks fantastic. This is a throw for me using the yarn left over from a throw I made for my son last Christmas. I am knitting it on a 36' circular needle and I can knit for a long time and not have pain in my hands.

True to color, soft & warm!
1 of my favorites for making supper soft blankets! The light teal is true to color, and matches great with the Tidepool Bernat color.I really wish Bernat would give info on the actual colors used in their multi colored yarns. (So you can match other colors to them, when you want more then 1 color in a project.)

Yarn thickness varies
I have knit eight afghans with Bernat Blanket in the last 5 months. It is beautiful yarn to work with and so soft. However, I can only give it a 4 because of the variation in its quality. You will see in the pictures that some of the yarn is excellent, round and full, while some of it is almost flat. What surprised me is that despite this variation, the end result still seems good - soft and fluffy. Working with vintage white however, all of the yarn was good quality and there is a definite overall difference in the softness and thickness of the afghan made with that yarn. The first Sonoma product was all very good. This set of four balls, was about half and half. You will also notice in the picture that there are some balls that have the ends tied. This is a frustrating "fix" by the manufacturer. In the space of two rows I had to knots that I had to cut out so that I could make ends to weave in on the finished product. Another downside to this yarn is that there have been a few times when a big chunk of yarn came out when I pulled for more, and it was terribly tangled. One time was so bad I had to cut it out, untangle it, and then weave it back in. While I love working with this yarn, it does have a few drawbacks to it, but not enough to make it so that I wouldn't buy it again. It makes a beautifully soft afghan. The Stripes version is thinner than the regular Bernat Blanket, and the Baby Blanket is generally better quality - at least in the Petunias. Colors matter with this yarn - the Vintage White seems to be the best quality, then Sonoma, then Harvest.

My favorite brand of blanket yarn
My favorite brand of blanket yarn. I have purchased this brand in so many color and made so many project with it. Vibrant colors that do not fade, easy to work with, super soft. I love the jumbo rolls too, last much longer. I only have one complaint about this brand, and I have to be really honest that I overlook it because it is so minor, it doesn't take much to break the yarn apart with little force. If you have a tangle do not pull hard to try and straighten it out, it will break. But again, I overlook that issue and have leaned just how hard I can pull so I don't have the issue.

Great seller, but product Inconsistent quality, color and softness.
I loved the first ball of yarn which was soft and springy. However the next of four I purchased was thin and flat and tight when knitting with no give at all. Each of the different balls of yarn were different and inconsistent. Two of them varied in color significantly being while shades lighter. This is no reflection on the seller. The yarn arrived on time and well packaged. I think the issue with the inconsistent yarn has more to do with the manufacturer of the product. The only option I could see was to purchase several and to pick the ones that match the best and either return ir save the ones that do not match for future projects.

Reliable and Durable Yarn for Cozy Creations!
I recently used the Bernat Wool to craft a batch of cozy slippers, and I am delighted with the results! This yarn proved to be an excellent choice for my project. The Bernat Wool is incredibly soft and easy to work with. The texture adds a luxurious feel to the slippers, making them not only warm but also comfortable to wear. The color options are vibrant, and the consistency of the yarn ensured a polished finish for each pair. What impressed me the most was the durability of this yarn.
