A Quality Set of Levels
This Stabila set is a wonderful level set for everyone. I am in the contracting business and use these on a daily basis. I have found that they are very accurate and very durable. They have been used on dozens of jobs and have not failed me yet. I used to use Empire, typically what you find at Home Depot, and find that these beat those levels in a variety of ways. The Stabila level is sturdy without being too heavy. Many other levels are either made of cheap plastic (which break easily or aren't accurate) or are very robust being made of steel and plastic combined. The main issue with other levels is that the sturdy ones are typically quite heavy and clunky. This set includes three different levels which all prove to be very useful. We bring all three to each job as you need the torpedo in small areas and four foot level works great leveling and plumbing surfaces. All in all, this set is well worth the "premium" that some people would say you have to pay. I believe you get what you pay for in this situation... Quality, Accuracy, and Durability

Very Accurate, Very Dependable
I bought a house and planned to do extensive renovations on it myself, so I wanted a very good set of levels. At the time I'd never heard of the Stabila brand, but looked it up a bit and it seemed that many people loved them and found them to be the best. I took the plunge and purchased this set. All three arrived fine and they looked good...I couldn't wait to test them out to see how accurate they in fact were. After testing all three, I was extremely happy that I got these. They were dead-on accurate. In case you want to know how to test bubble levels, this is what you do. Set a level down on a table and make it so that it is level (with shims, playing cards, etc). Once you have it leveled perfectly on that side, flip the level end-over-end and carefully put it down in the EXACT same spot that you just had it in. That side should also be perfectly level now. If it is not, then something is wrong with it. Just make sure you test it properly on a good surface and exactly the same way for each side to ensure you get a fair reading. Also, you can't do this test with the little one because it is not flat on both sides. So what you can do is get one of the other two to be perfectly level on a surface and then put the little one on top of that level. It should also read perfectly level.Anyway, if you're looking for a cheap home depot or, dare I say, harbor freight crap, then these are not for you. These are for serious people who want perfect accuracy in their levels and are willing to pay for that accuracy. To me there are certain tools that must be made well and that you can trust, and bubble levels are an example of that. Hope this helps.

Second to none.
This is a very nice set of levels. They are not the heavy more substantial ones but they work great. I am a Mason and really need the heavier ones, that being said, I have been using them on a commercial job and they have advantages to bigger levels. Can get them in tight spaces which is a plus sometimes. 4 footer in good, 2 footer is good, the torpedo is 5 stars all day long. Stabila is second to none, tough, accurate and priced right.

Quality vials
I love these levels and the price is impressive when compared to Canadian retail! I am fortunate enough to live close to the border and have my American goodies shipped to a mail box. The vials are what you are paying for and they are the same solid one piece vials as the more expensive Stabila offerings! I personally prefer the low key look of these "entry" level levels. The narrower profile makes them easier to handle as well and the simple design makes them easier to clean! Don't let the smaller profile fool you though, this level is solid and does not flex or twist!!! If I were to have a gripe, it would be a concern over the white end caps; they are hard plastic and feel like they might crack if dropped hard vs rubber ends on the higher model offerings. Then again it might be quality hard plastic but I have not tested its drop durability. As mentioned in some other reviews, only the torpedo level has magnets. I actually preferred it that way.The levels comes in a cardboard retail box. I recommend buying the Stabila carrying case; it has pockets for all three levels!!! Anyways, totally worth $99!

Quality levels - but
These levels are top notch but I think I should have gone with their better line. These are rather thin. I would have liked a rubber end cap as opposed to the hard plastic one that came with these levels. When all is said and done I'm sure these levels will work for my needs.

I would like to give it four and a half stars if I could!
I love these levels for many reasons and don't like one of them for only two reasons. The torpedo and the two foot level is excellent very precise in every way you use it. The four foot level is not that accurate as the other two if you use it vertically it is perfect but horizontally it misses by at least 1/32 of an inch more accurately 1 millimeter which is not that bad, but for me I like when my levels are 100%. And second reason is I can not chain it that easy if I have to leave it on the job site because there is no hole large enough to pull the chain or cable trough the level and it does not always fit inside of your tool-boxes. There is one hole there approximately 3/8 of an inch which you can use to lock the level if you have long enough padlock. Everything else I love very much about these levels. I use these mostly for cabinet installations and other fine jobs. The delivery was quick and the packaging was more than adequate. I would recommend these to anyone who struggles to find fine tuned levels because I could not find any at local home depot that were this close to be perfect.

They bend easy. Torpedo breaks easy. Alloy material
Cheap thin levels bend easy. Does not have a real lifetime warranty. Only covers bike nothing else. What could possibly go wrong with the vile? They need to waranty the whole damn level. Bend easy.
