Love them
My son has worn them for three months now. On ice three times a week. And we took them off today and we seen a nice increase in speed. Love them and totally recommend

Useful training aid
Son loves the product. He says he can't really tell while skating but once he comes off the ice his legs are tired. It doesn't look to throw off the stride at all. Fits to any skate and easy to put on.

Feel the Difference
I bought these for my 11 yr old and he loves how it feels when he takes them off to play. He feels like he is lighter on his feet and faster. When he wears them he feels like he has to skate harder to move, which is the whole point. Definitely worth a try.

Fit very well on the top of skates love the Velcro and the bungee cord is very helpful for holding on the weight great purchase!

The half pound weights do not stay secured on skates
I purchased the half pound skate weights for my 6 year old. Whenever I put them on pre skate, they look great and appear to be secured. After skating for a short period of time the weights become lopsided and begin moving around. Once he comes off the ice, the weight is basically on the side of foot. It’s a great idea but I find it very annoying that they do not stay secured throughout the duration of his skates. I’ll give it another try or two but these are likely going to be returned.

Like 1lb weights better than the 1/2 pound ( both need back straps included in price)
On the 1/2 pound had to buy my own straps to wrap around back of the skates so weights didn’t shift to the toe of the skate where as the 1lb weights come with straps .So I liked the 1lb weights better than the 1/2 lb .Need to include straps for both weight sizes.

Works good
These work good so far. Got them for my son and has wore them several times at practice. Doesn’t feel their weight at the beginning but towards the end of practice, he feels them. Going to use them all summer at practices and hopefully they help his skating. Velcro is great and super strong. Need to pull them tight and attach Velcro to make sure they don’t move.
