WixFilters - 33110 Heavy Duty Cartridge Fuel Metal Canister, Pack of 1

This is a replacement element for a gas motor aboard a vintage classic plastic sail boat on the Atlantic coast of NC. I have just pulled the engine and replaced the aged fuel tank that was burdened with years of condensation and sediments, a nightmare of engine killing talents in the worst of weather at the worst of times. The tank replaced, new fuel lines and shut off valve, carburetor cleaned and hopefully 40 more years of use with this filter element stowed as a spare and hopefully not to see the light of day for years to come. It is oversized for the job, so it is likely just the security of having a spare its biggest asset. This is identical to numerous elements replaced to this point, they from past experience are very good at their job, trapping a handful of rust and bad fuel in years past, finally decided I had been aggravated enough and set about fixing things correctly, no small task, the tank positioned in the stern behind the engine, pulling the engine on a sail boat no small endeavor.

Used as a gas filter on Supra boat. Has metal end caps. These are better than the fiber type on some other makes. Work well. The end caps hold their shape
