Excellent bit of kit
I'm going away on a week long school trip to Wales and we all get a room to ourselves. I didn't own any portable speakers and I thought since I would be spending quite a lot of time in the room, I'd better get some. After surfing around I saw this little thing. A little concerned the size and low wattage would mean poor sound quality, I was reluctant. After reading many positive reviews, I decided it was worth the risk for £15.They arrived a day before expected. The packing was good, it kept the product well protected and ultimately did it's job. After taking it out of the box I really was surprised by the size of the speaker. When closed, it's a little bigger than a golf ball. I don't think anyone can say this isn't portable...I plugged it into my iPod Touch and played a song with a good mix of highs and lows. At first I wasn't too impressed, but then I remembered it can be opened up, and wow what a difference it makes to the sound! The bass is flawless and when put on a solid surface like a wooden desk, it really does sound very good. The clarity is definitely there, and these really do crank up loud. It's only when you put it up to it's very loudest that you get distortion, but you would rarely need to put them up that loud as they really do fill the room with sound.I can't comment on battery life as I've not used it for long enough to drain the battery, but the quoted 12 hours is impressive, and having an internal rechargeable battery is also definitely a plus. The attached cable is short but very useful as you don't have to carry one around and the included charging cable is also rather short, but it does the job.Excellent sound quality. Very loud. Good build quality. Very portable.Overall, a great product well worth £15.

Amazing quality for the price
I just can't believe the sound quality that comes from something so small and cheap. Great design and build too.I bought this for an installation, where I needed a loud and clear sound from a hidden source. So I wasn't thinking about music. Had my doubts that something so tiny and cheap could really do the trick, but I didn't have the cash to buy a professional product so thought I'd take a chance on wasting £15.But this was perfect! I just can't believe the clarity and sound you get from something so tiny. Of course I've been playing around and listening to music on this now and it's great. Doesn't honestly sound like a really expensive floor speaker/subwoofer combo - and the bass only booms to a certain extent - but the sound is still really amazing when you take into account the size and price. Should think they're great for spoken word or watching films on your laptop too.Love the fact that you can get several and hook them up - am going to try this. The charge does actually last a long time, so they're fab with ipods etc.Not needing an external power source is really convenient and it's great not to have all the cables everywhere too. Comes with the right connectors. The build is nice and solid and the little channel that holds the jack plug stops this from getting yanked and broken like a pair of headphones. So you can see that a little thought has been put in to this design.Feels nice in the palm of your hand due to the slightly rubbery plastic (I only have the white so don't know about the others) and in general these look really cute and much more expensive than they are.

Very good product - and customer service
Two were purchased for my daughter's birthday at her request. That was in June this year. She was very pleased with the speakers' performance and found the small size very useful indeed, particularly when having backpacked away. Unfortunately, three months later, she was unable to get one of them to charge, so it was unusable. My daughter felt the fault appeared to be with the mini usb socket. She had tested it using the mini usb to usb and mini jack leads. She also tested using a similar set of leads. Both sets of leads had been tested on another speaker. The seller was notified of the problem and they were fine about the Capsule being returned to them. After receiving it, Memorywizz said it was difficult to tell what the problem was, but they were happy to send a replacement - which they did. I also mentioned the postage cost of £1.95 which they also agreed to refund. So, in summary, when it works this is a brilliant little piece of equipment, especially for the price. One Capsule/speaker hasn't had a problem. Fortunately, when the other one didn't work, thankfully the customer service was absolutely fine and totally in line with what Amazon requires.

Pleasantly surprised
Pros-small and compact-good sound quality-comes with carry caseCons-USB charging, personal gripe-short audio cableI was dubious of this product tbh and focused more on the negative reviews than the good. But it arrived today and although I can't comment on the long term durability of the mini I am more than happy with it. Had a quick go attaching it to my iPhone and played a couple of tracks and some video. With the volume turned to max on the PHONE and the mini, it handles really rather well. I can't seem to understand the bad reviews saying sound quality is awful because it's not! Those reviews are either down to faulty products/competitors or just plain retardedness where they haven't got the volume on their output device turned up.Audio cable is short (7cm or so), so if like me you were going to attach it to an iPad on a stand you will need an extension, no bother for me as I already had one.Buy it, it's good. £15 or whatever it was, if it breaks in 6 months then who cares!
