HPSlimline 270-p033w Desktop Tower, Intel Celeron G3930 CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD Windows 10

I bought this to serve as a basic surfing and productivity machine. Essentially it’s a replacement for my existing VMs. As a Mac user, I wanted an entry level Win 10 machine, since many applications and services I use for my job are Windows only. Unfortunately, Parallels tends to be painful — even on a beefed up iMac. I’ve always trusted HP - and have purchased several HP laptops for my wife (and we have an HP Chromebook) so this PC seemed to be a good bet.I’m really very pleased. I added additional RAM (16GB) and put a video card in it. The machine is great! It’s not going to be a gaming rig (obviously) but it’s more than sufficient for virtually every task short of gaming. I use Office 365 and associated services heavily. PowerApps runs great, as does Visual Studio.I love the form factor, and I’ll surely gravitate toward small form factor towers in the future. The machine looks sleek, modern and clean - and takes up a fraction of the space of traditional, full size towers. The convenience of the USB ports (including USB-C) and the card reader on the front are a real plus. As much as I like my Mac, I’m constantly annoyed by needing to reach behind the screen to plug anything into one of its (few) USB ports. This machine has PLENTY of high speed ports.PS: It also handles Minecraft just fine - which means my son also gives it high marks. :-)

I purchased this computer in March 23. It has been slow and I mean slow. Then the UBS port acted up and said there was a power surge. Yesterday It died. Trying to get help. Can't find help from Amazon, can't find info to contact HP or the third buyer. I guess I will have to purchase a new computer and NOT from Amazon. Called HP and find is it not under warranty. So only had a Amazon 30 day return.

Now My First Thoughts Out Of The Box Are, What A Nice Little Computer:Granted I'll have to kinda give a 'Proxy Interview' as I really bought this for a Girlfriend who got a bit excited cleaning up and totaled her 'Compaq Desktop' by accidentally whacking that Computer with a broom!.....LIKES:Low Price!.Nice Quality Build!.Easy Way Everything Went Together!.GD Performance!.Nice and Compact!.DISLIKES:Not Easy To Upgrade!.No OS Disk!.Just One USB Port On Front!.Personally I really like this computer tho granted its smaller then it looks on the WEB.Set up is easy and everything works fine.This model is especially good it you have a small apartment/Living Area..In short it does the job and everything works fine!.Indiana ED

A great price for this little PC tower. Looking at purchasing another, maybe two to replace some of our very outdated PC's. I bought this PC for my son to take back to school with him to save his laptop from being overused. Easy set-up, Wifi is great! I think anyone who buys this for home/school use will be very pleased. If you require a larger hard-drive I might suggest an external drive or do what our family does, utilizes MS OneDrive (Cloud) for storage. I might suggest purchasing a wireless mouse and keyboard as the ones that come with the PC are a little on the cheaper side but, function just fine. - NICE TOWER!March 30, 2019, PC is still running STRONG! Love it. Son has it back East at school. Able to log-in remotely, perform maintenance, tune-up, troubleshoot when needed to keep his PC operational for school. Would purchase again!!

I bought this mostly for surfing, and keeping photos. I have always gotten HP.But, it literally takes between 5 and 15 minutes to wake up every time. The screen will freeze, and wake a little, but, then go black for a few minutes, the take another five or more minutes to fully wake up. I hate when I come in the office to see that it's gone to sleep, because it will take forever to come back on. Turning it on initially in the morning takes too long too, but not as long as waking it up.I truly wish I hadn't gone the budget route for my computer. It is worth the extra few hundred dollars to get a better machine.

it powered up but couldn't add any info. kept getting error message. cortona said it was windows 8 i bought it as a new windows 10 it was not newIf it was refurbished and upgraded it wasn't new

Waste of money - can't even surf the web without this piece of garbage freezing. I didn't download anything, all I wanted to do was watch youtube and check my emails! Worst decision ever, currently on the phone with Amazon trying to get my money back.....
