Garvo Chicken Treats

My Ladies and Gentlemen love this treat from Garvo. The shrimps are plentiful and are always the first things they eat. After that the rest is soon also gone! I feed this in small, individual,bowls. Then I stand guard to ensure that everyone gets to eat their own sweets, time consuming but easier than feeding one at a time. Sometimes I will sprinkle some on their usual ration, just to zest things up a bit. It is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it as it is eagerly consumed by them all.

Chickens loved these, have only given 4 stars due to fact that it was a much smaller bag than expected for the price

This packet of chicken treats is a must for my 6 bantam chickens - they love it!It’s full of their favourite morsels from the regular Garvo Alfamix feed.A regular buy for me.

Having read such good things about alfamix, I bought it and these. Was really excited to try, but my birds aren't impressed at all! Only one of my chickens will eat these, my duck won't go anywhere near his food if these treats are mixed in.That said, it is a lovely product. Nice to see natural eating behaviours endorsed commercially, very happy to support garvo! Comes in a small, resealable bag for ease.The ingredients are sorghum, spinach seed, cracked maize, darl, amphipods, peeled oats, safflower seeds, broken peas and black sunflowers.If your birds enjoy it then it is a lovely treat mix. But for whatever reason, mine seem to be in the minority!

Using Garvo layers pellets it seemed logical to try the Treats from the same company. The chickens love them and appear on time for their allocation every day. Anyone wanting to get on good terms with their pets this is the ideal way. They ignore all else when their treats appear and do not forget who loves them.

I have the most fussy chickens, "spoilt", only have three, but they love these treats and also the Garvo Alfamix, they even eat the layers pellets in the mix. Maybe expensive, but not throwing food away now
