Great little compact heater, easily stored under the bench when not in use, heats up out workshop in 30mins with the doors closed, rubs well on fuel, burns roughly 5 to 10 ltrs a day depending how much its on

Our workshop has been really quite cold and its a big open space - having had to spend some late nights working in it recently I decided to splash out on this space warmer as the electric turbo fan I had was eating electricity and not really impacting the air temperature around me. As we are on a farm I have plenty of red diesel but to be honest heating oil is slightly cheaper. If you switch between different fuel types you need to train the fuel tank but that's a very simple drain at the back of the tank to faciliate this. The unit has an electric compressor so needs a power source - firing up the unit is simple - activate the compressor then press the start button - the centre core of the space heater starts to glow orange and a blast of heat radiates around.You can set the air temperature required using the digital display unit and the fuel tank is below the whole unit. The unit itself remains cool to the touch on the outside of the unit but its still a good idea to keep a safe radius around it as the heat emitted is quite ferocious!Whilst its not cheaper to run than a turbo fan heater it is far more effective - very very pleased with this.

Good product, works immediately in sending blasts of heat into the store room it was bought for and running it for 30-60 mins will warm the store completely.Downside is the smell of fumes from it. More than what i expected and puts me off using it as much as i would like as our store is on the back of a retail unit and the smell goes through to the shop, so maybe not ideal for such a scenario, probably better in a garage where the smell is not such a problem.Uses more fuel than expected as well, but when you see the output you can understand why. One 25 litre container will last about 3-4 days depending on how much it is being used.

Initially very impressed with the heat output but unfortunately it developed a motor fault after only 4 hours use. To their credit Sealy did collect, fix & return within 4 days and so far it’s working well.As mentioned the heat output is excellent at 210000 btu’s it runs in conjunction with our suspended gas blower & combined they heat our 6000sq ft factory very well. We only use as an additional heater during extremely cold weather, also as a backup to our main gas blower. It is quite noisy when running, but with hardly any noticeable fumes smell.
