These are cheap.... But for the price? Pretty good.
Maybe these are geared toward smaller people or kids but though the head band is more than big enough- fits fine, the ear phones are really more on-ear than "over-ear" and do press on and touch my ears and hurt after some time ... Ive gotten used to it . I dont really use these for gaming I have nicer ones for that but I could use them for that and it would work. The microphone seems to work well and I use it for that. I am on a lot of webex meetings and VOIP phone calls and stuff with the headset and its MUCH better than like a mono headset in terms of using it for audio the rest of the time. It has a volume adjustment on the headset itself which works fine. The microphone swings up and down and its a little stiff but works fine- it doesnt mute itself when tilted up as far as I know, maybe it does but If so it doesnt have any kind of indication it does , markings, or audio cues to let you know the way my corsair and others do.- again- PRICE. The audio quality is about a 6-10... maybe a 7-10. depending on your tastes with a 1 being a mono headset with 0 bass and a 10 being like a pair of Sennheiser 400 dollar headphones - so dont take 6 as that much of an insult its serviceable but it isnt a "premium" feeling audio. You wont feel like youre listening to a tin can or something. For general use its fine. I rated these a 5 because of price. Because for the PRICE- All of those things align fine and I am getting what I paid for. If it were a 70 dollar pair of headphones I would want them to be VERY comfortable, sound better, and have a more premium feel- but for this like... 20 dollar price point? Great, Best you could hope for unless you get really lucky with a used higher end gaming head set. And for a kid ? Fine. They seem plenty durable to me, they have enough flex that I do not at all feel worried they'll suddenly snap or fall apart. "TOYISH" but not in a "crappy" way, just cheap plastic engineered reasonably well to do the job.

Inexpensive and held up well
These are inexpensive and do the job for the price. I’m just now replacing the mic after three years of use and they held up very well for the duration of the time I’ve had them. The wires never twisted into oblivion and no parts broke after them being dropped. The audio was also pretty good as I could hear well playing audio sensitive games like rainbow six siege. I should have bought these again but I’m trying out another cheap pair just because but if those suck I’ll just get these again.

if you're a ranger, I'd consider something a little more durable but good for price
Lasted a long time. Sound quality was pretty good. I use this for my Xbox and also my PlayStation and it worked for both I don't like how it kills my controllers a little too fast. It's pretty easy to use, but if you're a rager if it's plugged into your controller and you throw it, it can break the inside of your controller and the headset plug lasted a few months. It was good for stars.

Like clockwork
Good until exactly the 6th month mark, the audio cuts out, microphone sucks and you can only have it plugged in at the right angle. I bought this 5 times until I moved on

Budget friendly first headset (Updated - Original purchase broke and bought the newer model!)
UPDATE (02/2026) - My son's headset broke at the mic arm. We got 18 months of solid everyday use out of them. I believe most people got a year. The old model mic arm is skinny about 2/3 the length of the arm. Then it thickens to the swivel point. I found this is to be a bad design. My son would move the mic up and down right at that location. Also, if the headset falls with the mic extended, the force is directed at that weak point. This new model is one thickness for most of the length. I don't see it being a weak point. The speakers are larger than the old model. The fit and functionality remain the same. Outstanding. Sound is greatly improved with the larger speakers. Plus you have the option of lighting up your headset. We couldn't be happier with the improvements. I got this headset for my 6 year old. The reviews were more than favorable and it was available at a great price. I figured if they were a low performer he wouldn't really know the difference. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. Let's not get crazy. Audiophiles will pick these apart in the snobby way they only know how to converse. But for kids these are perfect. The are a great match for smaller heads and the volume control is a thumb wheel with enough resistance to prevent accidental max volume. Give them a try.

Hit or miss, mine was a miss
This was delivered on the 20th and first time used on the 21st. Out the package, it looks just like advertised. When I used it the first time for my PS4, I plugged it in and discovered one side of the headset doesn't work. Regardless of all the troubleshooting, I can only hear out of the right ear. Luckily, the mic still works and I was told the quality of my voice sounds great. The audio in the only working ear sounds slightly muffled, but not so muffled that voice or sound are incomprehensible. You get what you pay for, and I thought I could get lucky with having a decent headset for a low cost.
