This has been one of the best over the garden wall reads if not the best. It is dark, fun, and whimsical just like the show.

Physically, looks new with no bent edges or creaks. Story wise, good laughs here and there, however its short.Overall, worth it for the holiday gift for anyone a fan of Over the Garden Wall.

Great art style and storyline. The plot and dialogue and art all stay true to the original show, but definitely feels fresh. Perfect OTGW blend of creepy/trippy/sweet/funny. 10/10 would recommend. But see the show first or else you'll be confused

This is one wild story that adds so much to the narrative. Beautiful artwork as usual. 10 out 10 reccommend.

This book is so great. I hope there be a story about Wirt's past.

By the time I finished this book, I appreciated how complex the storyline was and how everything fit together. It was fun to see more of the characters in their worlds. The art was fairly enjoyable too.However, I wouldn't get this book for kids, as there is quite a bit of banter about romance that borders on inappropriate. Also, many parts are rather creepy/disturbing. I doubt I would have bought the book if I knew.
