Spigen Ultra Fit Galaxy S5 Case with Premium Finish Coating for Samsung Galaxy S5 2014 - Electric Blue

There's no doubt that this is a beautiful case. It's light and thin enough for the phone to still fit in my pocket, but with enough thickness to it that I don't worry when I drop it (which I've done quite a few times since I put the case on) and the blue is absolutely beautiful.But, as others have stated, it doesn't do anything to protect the screen (although most cases don't, so it's not a huge deal for me) and I'm not the only person who can't stand screen protectors. Also, the fit, while great in most areas, is extremely tight around the power button.It makes it hard to hit the button and push it down enough to light up my screen and turn it on and off. That's something that's highly inconvenient and while I can hit the button in the middle to light my screen, I can't use that button to turn it on/off. So, I like the case, and I definitely like the price, but I think I'll continue to search for something that fits perfectly, and not just mostly.

Inexpensive, good-looking case and screen protector for folks who put reasonable wear and tear on their Samsung Galaxy S5. If you like to use your phone as a projectile, then this is not the case for you.Pros: 1) Case looks good. It does not make my Galaxy look like a toy. I have the blue case, and the color matches what is shown in the pics. The case does hide the plastic silver sides of the phone, which is a plus for those who consider the faux chrome look as tacky.2) The case snaps on easily without having to force any of the edges and potentially snap them. There is a thin strip on the screen side of the volume buttons, and I thought this might be fragile, but it is not.3) The case makes the phone feel better in my hand. This case is not bulky at all, and actually "fills out" the Galaxy S5 to a more rectangular shape and it feels solid. The dot pattern on the case makes it feel less slick and less likely to slip out of your hand.4) The screen protector is included and easy to apply; "bubble free." Screen protectors are always a good idea for preventing scratches and just in case the screen does crack. The screen protector was easy to apply. REMOVE side labeled "BACK" FIRST; it has the ADHESIVE on it to stick to the screen.5) The price; there are cases for $5 and $11, but they did not come with a screen protector.Cons: None discovered yet. I cannot say how this case will stand up for people to drop their Galaxy S5 frequently or are hard on it.The case and screen protector will take you one minute to apply with no difficulties. "Plug and play!"UPDATE: Jan 2016The thin strip on the left side did break off (see #2 above), after I dropped the phone.The case still provides great protection, and IMO still looks fine.I've dropped it so many times inside and on concrete that I was really concerned the screen would crack, but it did not.Would still rate this 5 stars!

As others have stated, this case doesn't have much 'grip' to it and has slipped out of my hand quite a few times, and has even slid out of my pocket couple times.The fit of the case is good and the cut outs for camera, heart rate sensor almost seem part of the phone. The speaker cut out lines up perfectly. The color (Electric Blue) is nice.This is a basic protection case as it is mainly a plastic shell. But is thin and does not add much bulk to phone. Will keep it until find something a bit better and less slippery.Also the included screen protector seemed 'dirty' Had issues with dust specks during application even though was trying to be as clean as possible. After attempting to get rid of all the dust the protector was clear except for some dust speck bubbles which drove me crazy and purchased another screen protector. Was a bit annoyed by this as had used and liked Steinheil protector before which was one reason purchased this case.

So, the SG5 is a pretty ugly phone. It also feels pretty cheap. But it's also a hell of a phone.I am not normally a case fan, but I already installed Spigen's tempered glass screen protector (fantastic product, by the way -- have used them on numerous iPhones and other phones in the past) so I figured it made sense to invest in a case.I wasn't expecting anything special since most cases you buy hoping that they don't look and feel like crap. Funny thing here, though, is that I feel like the case actually improved the overall feel and quality of the phone. It added just enough weight to the device to make it feel less like a toy. It added just enough strength to the device to make it feel like it could withstand anything.And, frankly, I think it actually improved the look of the phone as well. I went with the blue dot case (white phone) and it at least covers up the hideous fake chrome plastic trim that nearly ruins the look of the SG5.Overall, Spigen makes a quality product. I've used their cases and screen covers many times in the past and don't really see the need to ever go with another company. Very pleased (in fact, I purchased a mint cover as well to keep around as a back-up).

It looks great, but the main issue I have with it is the grip. It slides out of my hand too easily. I have to hold it with both hands to text or do anything on it. Even with that, it still slides. I dropped it a couple of times because of the grip. It did it's job and protected the phone the one time it slipped out of my hand on concrete. It damaged the bottom left corner of the case. After a couple of days of using it, I switched it with a caseology case. The caseology case offers protection around the whole bumper instead of the corners like this one.

I love this case! I had the same case for almost 2 years which I had bought from Amazon.com in May/June 2014. I recently bought this one to replace the old one. Of course they get scratched and fade a bit over time, but they last long! I've dropped my phone a couple of times but the case stays on...

Lovely fit. Lovely colour. Very pleased. Hopefully will protect well.

Made for S5. Has the same look and texture as that of S5 back. Plastic quality is good. Good protection. Been using for 8 months now, still looks good.
