I don’t have anything to compare it too but so far this car holder has worked. It is important to note that this lid is spring loaded so when you open the lid, it will automatically close on its own when you are done.

They look great, and of very good quality.

I attached this to an outdoor store window to help window shoppers, found the very next day on the ground when I opened my store. So don't use the peel and stick it comes with. I then re-attached with construction adhesive that comes in a tube. It adhered nicely and is still on my window a week later. Must be pretty sturdy, it didn't ding or even scratch when it fell off the window to begin with. The plastic is pretty thick (not quite 1/8th of an inch), and the hood covers the cards very well, so rain has not been an issue for me, that was a concern at first. Fits about 3/4" thick of business cards, if you want to max it, or course you can put in as few as you like. The hood is has about an 1/4" overhang on 3 sides and the back wall also has a rounded down overhand of about 1/8th" so it really is built for being outside. Have not yet had much humidity, so do not know if that will be an issue in the future, but for the price and quality I would buy again. Wish I had bought this years ago, can't believe I did not think of searching for something like this sooner. Hope this helps others!

Item arrived several days earlier than originally anticipated, which was fantastic as I needed it for an event. It feels well made. I was expecting one of this price to be on the flimsy side and was quite pleased with handling it.

Bought this to have a place to put my business card when our store is closed, this way people can take one and call us. So far, through high humidity, rain, and heat, this has so far stood the test of time. So worth the money. Appreciate that it has a cover to lift so it helps keep our business cards nice and dry under the outdoor overhang.**Update**June 23,2022–two years plus later and this card holder is still hanging strong outside of our business door. Looks like we just hung it up a day ago. Our business cards have never gotten wet, no matter the strong, crazy rains during our hurricane seasons. Worth the purchase price!

I like this. I am sure it would work great outside. I use it to keep my cards handy when I am working. A little hard to get the cards out. It does the job for me.

I own a vehicle wrap business in Savage MN and we do a ton of commercial work. I began offering these as an upsell to my customers who love the idea of having a business card dispenser on the side of their vehicle. I put one on each side of my own company van, and we've been driving with it on for a few months now. I've gone through snow and heavy thunderstorms as well as a rainy interstate drive to Iowa, and my cards did not get wet. I'm very pleased!

I bought this to hang by the front door of my business.I need to start with the negatives first: The lid clasps far too tightly...I wish it was looser or with no spring at all. When the cards are in the device there is not much of a gap to pull cards out. I have to stand the cards up sideways to make them easier to grab.Other than that, it will serve a purpose. At least I can hang business cards by the front door.

this is the second I've purchased. I've had the first one attached to my outside door jam with no protection against the elements. It's been very raining, but this seems to be keeping my business cards dry with it's spring loaded, slanted cover. So I got a second for the other side of the shop/studio storefront.

We use this for our (interior) office where we don't always maintain consistent hours; building is inherently low public traffic anyways. This allows any passerby a chance to grab our cards/contact information with ease. Looks very sharp and professional on the door. I can't speak to the weather durability of the product.

It's not really for outdoor use, unless you have a covered patio or awning. Also, cards will warp if it's too humid out.
