Knitted Finger Puppets: 34 Easy-to-Make Toys

I love this book , the patterns are so clever, I plan on teaching the seniors in my new development , how to knit the finger puppets , so I can donate them to cancer hospitals for sick little children , waiting for their chemo etc, it is such a comforting thing and used worldwide to help these poor little frightened kids.

These are just adorable. I haven't made any of them yet. But they are so easy to make even without the patterns that if one knows how to knit, they will be easy to create.

I have found this book has wonderfully designed finger puppets for me to knit for friends and family, young and old. A very professional approach in design to much loved "friends" of nursery rhymes and nursery tales. Thank you for sharing your skills with me.

Good finger puppets

The puppets did not show much imagination. They were extremely basic designs. I have gotten better patterns for free from the internet. I wish I had borrowed this from our library and looked at it before buying it.

Even though I am an experienced knitter I found it difficult to follow, maybe it's because it is written for the American market. If you can master the instructions the 'puppets' would be lovely and I can imagine any child enjoying them, but it is not for me..
