Wire Tight Fence Crimping Tool - Ranch Wire Tightener and Repair. Slick, High Tensile and Barbed Wire

Do the crimps last for double strand barbed wire or will it loosen over time if cattle brush against it too much? Does it matter how old the wire is?

The top wire on my field fencing is 10 gauge. Will this work on it or will wire this thick crimp or worse, break?

Will it work on 6" x 8" mesh 4 gauge welded wire?
