Outstanding
Directions scared me of being careful applying this product and not spilling onto paint, almost passed it up. Our water mineral content in this area is awful , tried filters less than $100. that had no bearing. Four years tried several products with poor results and a lot of effort. First tried this product on mirrors, bang instant results. Used very little, thick enough to stay on cloth. I mean instantly removed water stain and brought a brilliant shine I've not seen before. 2019 F250, entire truck including dual roof was done in 35 min. Far exceeded my expectations.UPDATE....After many uses I increased the area size to apply the product...big mistake ... you've can only do small areas at a time and don't let it dry...keep buffing. Great product when I follow directions.

This stuff works like a champ!
This stuff works like a champ! I bought this to use on my Ford F150, which due to where I park it receives both a lot of sun and a lot of exposure to water from both sprinklers and rain. I noticed during a normal cleaning that the windshield started getting some very hard water spots so to combat this I bought this and some Chemical Guys applicator pads. Without using any compound buffing machine this stuff took off most of the hard set in water spots, and with a little extra elbow grease the rest of the water spots were removed. My ONLY small complaint is that this should be applied before you do a car wash as this stuff will gunk up and smear on your windshield if you don't take the time to really thoroughly remove the compound. It will look like its gone but create a fog and streaks when using wipers. I'm sure that this is spelled out in the instructions (they have youtube videos as well!) but I didn't read them so thats on me! Good product overall!

It does work
Managed to get the hard water spots off the glass on the car. But the directions are not as clear as they could be, and it takes multiple applications to truly work.

Use on plastic gauges!
This stuff obviously works great on glass and windows. But I just bought a 16 year old Altima for my daughter's first car. A great test for Chemical Guys. The one thing I kept looking at was the gauge pod. The plastic was so hazy it looked like it had been in the sun for 16 years. You could barely see into it it was so hazy. I thought of this stuff and figured what the heck. I put it on and...I can't even see the plastic cover. It's like it disappeared. Used this and a Chemical Guys microfiber towel to apply and used clean side to wipe off. Two minutes wiped off 16 years of wear. Great stuff. Wish I had a before shot...but you see the mileage and the clarity.

Well, it does a good job
... as long as you don't expect to just wipe this on and wipe it off.If you're going to use this by hand with a microfiber applicator, or a microfiber towell - expect to have a few achy muscles the next day. You're going to be putting some elbow grease into your work - water spots are the devil for detailing, they are hard to remove, they are easy to create, they are ugly, not smooth, and take the longest to correct.I won't use this product by hand, I'll only use it using a DA polisher and an orange light-cut pad. On a Porter Cable, I spread and work the product in on #5, and then finish it off on #6 with light pressure. Anything less is tiresome and slow. I suspect that using a yellow pad (heavy cut) would work as well, maybe a little quicker - but an orange pad has just the right amount of 'give' and cushion effect a good correction.FWIW, I used a few sprits of P40 detailer (Chemical Guys) as a lubricant for the pad, to keep it from drying out as quick. I like to work a polish a little longer than some, I guess.

This is an excellent product, it really works
This is an excellent product, it really works! I had so many waterspots all over my GTI's windows from a sprinkler that nothing seemed to work on.First make sure you get your windows nice and clean. Also make sure it's dry and relatively cool. Then apply some of this to a Microfiber cloth/ or microfiber sponge and apply as you would wax, but with a lot more elbow grease (yes I can't overemphasize this), I was sweating profusely once I finished but my windows look beautiful and clear again.I will definitely buy this product again, I think I should get many uses after this bottle but I'll have to be more careful to stay away from sprinklers.5/5

Not for tough Water Spots.
Purchased this product based on the fact that it was for "Hard to remove" water spots. I additionally based my purchase on the brand name as I've heard good things from others about the company. I waited for my car to cool and then applied as per directions to some really tough hard water stains that other products have had little affect on. This was no different, applied by hand 3 times and it only slightly removed some of the water stains. It did remove some of the lighter stains, but not enough to justify the cost. I just wish I had taken pictures for evidence to help others.

Definitely worth it, all my stains are gone!! 5/5
I don't usually write reviews but I just had to say this product is absolutely amazing. I had these weird small water drop stains on all my windows after buying my pre-owned vehicle. It got really bad in the rain and would cause my windshield to look smeared and greasey which was dangerous as my mom borrows the car. She had a hard time driving in the rain and didn't feel safe. No matter what I couldn't get the stains off. I even asked the workers at the place where I went to get the car tinted and they said it was "permanent and it doesn't come off". Well I checked out this product on YouTube and then I came here and ordered it. My windows look literally brand new. All the stains are gone completely and I absolutely love this product. Definitely recommended!!! 5 out of 5 stars for sure :)

Depends on the neglect of the surface
I expected a much better result however I can see this product working very well on a new car trying to maintain water-spots from occurring. This product is not meant for a car with years of water spotting neglect unfortunately acid or a abrasive compound would give you a better result. Great product, depends on the neglect of the surface though
