In the middle of returning this item due to an alarming issue. Wiring for part of the unit was crossed which was overlooked when installed as soon as it was powered up, it sparked and blew out the lighting with a loud noise. No it was not hooked up wrong. Also take a look at the photo, the wires are clearly in the wrong order no matter if you put it in correctly or tried to force it in flipped….which nothing was forced. Major fire hazard as it blows out wiring and will continue to spark until you cut power if the thin wiring doesn’t completely blow. It appears this product has good ratings but the one I received obviously didn’t hit quality control.

Works well so far. I did order 2 for a large room hoping they would use the same remote but I ended up with 2 very differnt remotes and even had different color wires. I beleive one was wired for "international" colors while the other was more domestic for the US. The fans look the same but the remotes work very different and not together, a bummer but not a deal breaker

the directions are not the best.. wiring colors dont match up .. they say you can use your phone to operate the fan and lights but there is No information on what app for your phone..

Customer service is 5 star quality, however I had a couple issues with the product that I did not expect, but were resolved in a timely manner. 1) A 48” blade kit was accidentally packaged with the fan instead of a 52” kit. 2) The RGB light will periodically turn itself on, (soft blue glow) and has to be turned back off by the remote. 3) The fan requires some assembly and wiring connections of the fan controller and led light. This involves plugging wires together and they all have unique shaped plugs so you cant wire it incorrectly. Note, the wires to the house power are color coded to international standard so brown is hot (US black) and blue is neutral (US white). I also added a ground wire attached to the fans housing to comply with local code.
