I was building my tomato and peppers raised bag garden using 2x3's so that I could twine train my tomato and pepper vines up for a healthier grow and needed a way to help tie down the structure to prevent wind damage and these eye bolts fit and worked perfectly into the wood and I could adjust for tension. They are stainless steel so they will not rust allowing me to adjust as needed.

Great eye bolts with hardware!

Just as advertised. These are perfect for what I needed to do - The actual shaft IS 4" long just as pictured, unlike those big box stores that say they are 5 inches, but only give you 2 inches of thread because they measure from the top to bottom. This is literally 4 inches of threaded material, THEN the rest is extra. I needed to get through a 3inch pipe, and this was perfect as it gave me an additional inch for washers, and lock nut. And being its stainless steel, for this price made it even better! I highly recommend these if you are looking for a "literal" measurement of the thread length. I'd definitely purchase these again.
