UTI relief
Antibiotic resistant urinary tract infections are very common. I put five drops of Oregano Oil in a 00 capsule with a dropperful of sesame or olive oil, and take every two hours for a few days, then every three hours, four, etc. Works like a broad-band antibiotic and antifungal. I use other adjuncts, such as drinking a lot of nettle and cornsilk tea - for the kidneys - taking olive leaf and goldenseal tincture as these have a specific affinity for the kidneys and urinary tract, a pint of unsweetened cranberry juice, some other antifungals such as grapefruit seed extract and caprylic acid to hit the fungal part (UTI infections often have a fungal component), occasionally some baking powder when the urine is too acid (it has to be somewhat on the acid side while healing UTIs) and also hyaluronic acid powder, to help heal the tissue on the inside of the bladder so the bacteria can no longer find hiding places. But the main component is the oregano oil, and this product works and is also very affordable. Once you have a repeating UTI infection, you have to stay on top of it for the rest of your life basically. You have to continue to drink a lot - with a pinch of natural salt is best, to ensure that you do not deplete your electrolytes - and you have to continue to take some form of natural antibiotic such as olive leaf extract or oregano oil. Let me not forget - as weird as this sounds - that during treatment I rub in Aura Cacia frankincense oil a few times a day and night over the bladder, and up both sides next to the spine and then over the kidneys. The medicinal properties of frankincense topically are an important part as for me, I feel tenderness and pain rise up the back into the kidneys. All of these various parts were discovered and coordinated over about two years of dealing with chronic UTI infection sans antibiotics. Also, look into how UTI bacteria have become rampant on chicken, and avoid cooking or eating chicken during treatment. HOW COMPLICATED, right? And of course, you have to live as healthy and regular a life as possible. It's worth it, chronic UTIs are the pits. :)

Strong, effective, healing
As a believer in nature having a cure for almost any ailment, I was on the search for something that would help me with what seemed to be recurrent UTIs. I went to the doctor twice in the span of a couple of months due to painful UTIs, which I had never had before. They prescribed me antibiotics, which totally wiped my system out and caused severe digestive issues. I really try not to take antibiotics, as they become less effective the more you use them, and they are just so dang harsh. I read about Oil of Oregano as a natural antibacterial. I started with a different brand that came in capsules. It seemed to help stave off any infections for a while, but I wasn't fully convinced that it could cure one if it developed. Once I ran out, I started to do some more research and found out that to get the most effectiveness from Oil of Oregano, you should be buying the kind from Greece and it its purest form (liquid). That is when I came across articles that said Zane Hellas is the way to go.I've been using this for almost a year now, and haven't had to go back to a doctor. Whenever I feel a UTI coming on, I add this to my daily regime by putting it in an empty capsule with a carrier oil (like Grapeseed or Olive Oil). I wouldn't recommend taking it by the spoonful, as it is pretty disgusting tastewise, and can burn your tongue, throat, stomach.I have noticed it causes some acid reflux and pain after ingestion if I take it on an empty stomach and do not drink it with enough water. So it is important to start slow and take caution, as this stuff is POWERFUL. It is also said to help keep you from getting sick, which I haven't been for the last year, so this could be part of that.In addition to using Oil of Oregano as a UTI remedy, I also use D-Mannose powder, Apple Cider Vinegar and Vitamin C.Now, there are a lot of articles that say you should only use Oil of Oregano for a few weeks at a time, because it is strong and hard on your kidneys and intestines, as it can kill probiotics that help with your digestive tract (like an antibiotic) and can build up toxic levels of thymol (one of the active ingredients in Oil of Oregano). This is why it's important to do your own research before using it, and follow dosage instructions.

Product Good,but definitely diluted
Sadly, this product went from 5 Stars to 3. The newer reviews are true, the product has in fact been severely diluted. (See pic from my older bottle (Left) and this most recent purchase (Right). You can clearly see the difference in product and smell the difference as SOON as you open it. I live by this and have ordered several times because the value and strength of the prior product was unmatched. All the health benefits mentioned in prior reviews are 100% true and that's why I chose Zane Hellas because of its strength and price. The old product was comparable to brands I had purchased at up to 4x's the price. When purchasing again,I read reviews that said it had been diluted, and just figured that was a fluke. But it was true and I am so sad about it. However, the product is still decent for the price. It's good, just not nearly as strong, you will need much more drops to get what you need. People rely on this for the health benefits. Note: product can burn or cause a slight burn/type itching sensation when not used with some type oil,Coconut Oil seems to work best. Shame on your Zane Hellas! You get a good thing going and then go cheap on production to save money. Goes against everything you say your company stands for in that extensive brochure in the packaging. I will be reaching out to them directly b/c this is truly a shame!
