My son used this sword for the first at a competition, and the electric tip never would register when plugged in. The electronic part is poorly put together.

Looked great out of the bag as it should. I got to a competition and after my first bout the eppe was grounded out on the strip for.my second match...... Cost me a Yellow card. On closer inspection, the wires behind the Guard (but before the pad) were crushed. I was lucky to get even one bout out of it and who's to say the thing was fully functioning in the bout.... Possibly could've cost me some crucial touches. Imho, the eppe should've performed 100% through the whole tournament being new out of the box. I should've bought a more expensive sword from a well known dealer. A positive mark. The swords are very durable and are great when not hooked up to electronic scoring.

A good sword for my teen son to use at his fencing lessons.

First sword fell apart in multiple ways. I posted a one-star review and LEONARK responded by sending me a new sword free of charge. Full credit for making sure I got what I paid for, one star off for not getting it right the first time.

Excellent epee. I have been fencing for almost 10 years now and this epee is better quality than my previous blades. I also really love the bag to hold my blade. Much better than those larger bulkier fencing bags.
