RIEDEL Vitis Cabernet Glass

These glasses are absolutely gorgeous. They look expensive and are perfect for pinot noir. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

These are elegant glasses of exceptional quality, and as such fulfil what I wanted exactly.For me though they lose 1 star only because they aren't the easiest to clean - yes they are dishwasher safe, but dishwasher detergent would tarnish the glass and so I wouldn't recommend it at all. But also hand washing and drying them really isn't easy because of the deep narrow part of the bowl which extends into the stem, which becomes a bit inaccessible when combined with the narrow (and delicate) rim. I am far more worried about breaking them when cleaning them, than I am when using them.

These are beautiful glasses. Fantastic quality, a real joy to drink from. However, they are quite pricy. If they were BOGOF or another potentially offensive acronym standing for slightly cheaper then I would give them 5*.

Riedel has great quality products, especially the vitis Collection. I was afraid to have them shipped as they are very fragile, but the packaging was carefully done and no damage to the glasses. Love them!
