Mighty Leaf Tea, Bombay Chai, 15-Count Whole Leaf Pouches (Pack of 3)

This chai is not the same as the chai I had at a great Indian restaurant just south of Golden Gate park in San Francisco. I live in the middle of nowhere -- authentic chai is just something that I'll save for vacations.But for me at home, Bombay Chai is just fine. It tastes good and you can see whole/larger pieces of spices in the bag. The Bombay chai is much more flavorful than Tazo or Good Earth (yuk) that I can find at my supermarket.I live 70 miles from the nearest Whole Foods market where I can buy Bombay Chai, that's why I ordered it here on Amazon. I had purchased a box of it from WF and really enjoyed it.I steep the tea, remove the bag and stir in some sugar free fat free vanilla powder, some nonfat milk and vanilla protein powder. I just love it this way.All you tea purists can go fortify yourself now with some totally authentic tea that was brought from India on the back of sacred cattle that swam across the Ganges before being loaded into a specially blessed cargo container. I'll just sit over here and enjoy my chai with my peanut butter toast.

The spices in this tea are amazing. They smell so exotic and energizing and the peppery element can be felt after swallowing. I absolutely love this tea...At the coffee shop. I was so ecstatic when I found it on amazon that I subscribed to it. The entire first box of it made a weak tea and was therefore disappointing. I am hoping the box was a dud (if that's possible) and the next is closer to the coffee shop quality I fell in love with.

I like a strong chai flavor. I am always looking for a new and better chai. I love the teevana chais, but the oprah chai is far too expensive and the chais all seem to have added sugar~which I do not want. This is sweet enough with it's seasonings. It has a fairly strong flavor~ a smooth and aromatic blend. The tea bags are beautiful too ~ It is a great deal for the price. Unfortunately, I am not paid nor do I receive product for my reviews.

I have yet to figure ot if there is a difference between the mighty leaf Bombay and Masala Chai but both are extremely tasty, come in nice big sachets which are packed in clear plastic easy open envelopes. Mighty leaf is fresh, spicy and holds up well to adding cream, creamer, or even coconut Oil. You can trust that Mighty Leaf will ship correctly, quickly, and you will like their tea!

This was not the delicately seen fabric bag like I had purchased elsewhere. This is a “pyramid” pouch. Disappointed not the beautiful pouch I had thought I was ordering. On the 3 bent, crushed boxes I received, “new look, same tea”.

I did not receive the item that was pictured. I received the "new and improved" version in different packaging. The box states "NEW LOOK SAME TEA" but the tea does not taste the same at all. The spiciness of the tea is really muted.My office used to provide us with Mighty Leaf tea and the Bombay Chai was my favorite. They recently switched out our tea with Tazo and their version of chai tea just wasn't as good at Mighty Leaf's. So I started ordering it thru Amazon. However, I'm really disappointed that the tea in the new packaging just does not taste the same.

Love this tea, I will definitely order more. I love the fact that the tea leaves are inside a fancy bag instead of the cheap bags were it leaves dust on the bottom of your cup. Delicious and great.

The thing that distinguishes this Chai from all the others on the market is the hint of pepper that gives the tea a wonderful spicy taste. The pepper keeps it from being cloying, a problem that some other brands have. I have tried chai from many companies and this is, to my mind, by far the best.
