This is a nice fountain. You can just put it on the ground or you could even raise it up on a pedestal or block if you prefer it higher. We did have a slight leak issue traced back to water rolling over the sides of a spout and trickling down the outside of the fountain. Tried reduced water flow but ultimately had to reconfigure the spout with some sheet metal and epoxy. It may have been just the one we got. We love it.PROS:(1) Looks great(2) Well made, solid(3) Lighting inside the water bowls is terrific, especially at night(4) Adjustable water flow(5) Sounds just like a fountain should, relaxingCONS:(1) Poor instructions but you’ll figure it out. Keep the transformer OUT of the fountain.(2) Possible issue with spout design. Higher sides or tubular design would be better.

Great fountain. I have it in my home office. The water sound was very loud at first - too loud to have indoors in my opinion - and there was some minor splashing, but I found some medium sized rocks from around my property and put them under the waterfalls and now it looks even more natural and sounds just right with no splash. The photos are accurate - the colors, lighting, and size of waterfalls is right on with what I received. It's a nice, zen addition to my office. Easy setup. Holds almost one gallon of water. It would be perfect, right out of the box, for outdoors where more sound and some splash is okay.

I have had this fountain for a little over two weeks. We have it outside on our front porch, and my "home office" window opens up to the porch. It is a perfect fountain for this area. Very soothing, and just the right size. Unfortunately, it came without the light assembly and bulbs. I contacted the seller, and they sent a package to me that did NOT contain anything resembling a light assembly and bulbs. This is why the 4 stars. On the flip side, I am not using it at night, so the light assembly is not necessary for me to enjoy it. A note to everyone who wishes this came with an on/off switch. My husband purchased a remote control so that I can operate the fountain from indoors and do not need to go outside to plug it in every time I want to use it! It is the perfect solution! If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. It is the seller I was not satisfied with.Update: the Seller makes me laugh. I guess talking about the light assembly AND the bulbs being missing in my original shipment only netted me the bulbs which I received today. Still no light assembly. I am mystified by how only a portion of my review was read. SEND THE LIGHT ASSEMBLY PLEASE! Thank you :)

We have a much bigger stone fountain with a similar design in our garden From Fountain World that cost 5 times what this was. We wanted a smaller, simple fountain for our patio that also sounds like soothing water and not the "leaking dribble" some less expensive fountains may have. This fountain sounds wonderful and similar to our high-end fountain. Great quality and value. Easy to set up-my 15-year old son put it together quickly.

Looks great. It has a leak and I have to add water each week. I.just recieved water sealer yesterday that im going to to fix whatever small leak base has.I wouldn't buy again.It doesn't make any water sound if that's what you want.

I ordered this to distract from the sound of air-conditioning units near my deck. It doesn’t drown them out, but it does provide a good, loud foreground noise to mask them a bit. The foundation is really pleasant to look at. At night the bulbs send shimmering waves of light upwards, almost like a fireplace.I was also really pleased with the vendor. One of the lights didn’t work when the fountain arrived and they worked with me (through the Amazon email system) to figure out the problem, and quickly sent me a replacement lighting harness, which was easy to install.

The ball on the top was crocked.. they did sent me a replacement top.. of which the plastic tubing was so kinked that it was unusable.. It spit out so much water I then purchased a rubber mat to put under. in ONE day the train was filled to the brim.. do not purchase this product it is a great disappointment..

I bought on of these and it was never delivered. They said it was damaged in shipment. I asked for a refund and had trouble getting it. I bought another one and it started leaking within a week. It's being returned. I'm done with this company.

Beautiful fountain, exactly as advertised

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my wife, and so we never hooked it up until early summer, well past the allowed return window. The issue was that no matter how low I set the pump rate, the water splashed quite a lot, keeping the cedar deck around the fountain to be constantly quite wet. I tried a few ways to fix this issue, such as filling the basins with small rounded stones, but nothing worked, and most just made the problem worse. When I phoned customer support, they were very nice, but would not replace it with one that does not splash.I was going to give it away on Facebook, but my wife was not too happy loosing her Christmas gift, so I turned my brain on and got back to work trying to resolve the issue. I finally cut some glass pieces to create slides for the water. This worked. See the pictures to learn how I resolved the issue.If situate this fountain where overspray does not matter, that's great (other than adding a litre or two of water to the fountain every day). On a deck, I would worry about eventual rot from it always being wet.I like very much the look of the fountain, and, now that I found a work around for the overspray, I am overall pleased. But 3 stars, because I don't think one should have to figure out how fix a problem that should not be part of the package.
