Instep issue
My trusty pair of Mt Washington’s finally gave up the ghost. Trusting that Timberland would have made another gem with the Logan Bay, I bought them despite them not being explicitly waterproof as the Washington’s were. They’re fine boots, I suppose. I have my doubts about the anti-fatigue “technology” as I found them much less comfortable right out of the box than the Washington’s were. Feels cheaper. The leather, too. Is it the treatment that the ethically sourced material is subjected too? I don’t know. Maybe it’s not fair to compare but as it’s the reason I got the Logan’s it’s my only point of reference vis-à-vis Timberland Chelsea boots. The footbed shape is much more different as well. Lumpier and made for a narrower foot than mine (13US). The worst is what I was surprised to find is the very low profile across the instep. It may make for a “sexier” boot but it hurts too much for me to keep them.

Glad i read reviews on sizing first
I bought a half size SMALLER AFTER READING REVIEWS. GLAD I DID. Fit good. Used my old trapperkeeper boat shoes inserts and feel good. Not too heavy. The heel of boot is about an inch and a quarter high not that you can tell from the pics. Well made boot

These are some rugged, masculine looking boots. These replaced my Timberland Mount Washington Chelsea Boot that kept my feet warm during the Chicago winters the past five years. Yes, they do run slightly large but I prefer it that way because I wear bulky thick socks in the winter for extra warmth. Personally, I would only wear them in cold, rainy weather because they look too robust on your feet for the summer or early fall months. The thick soles and top notch leather will make these your preferred choice of boots during the winter and fall months.

Run a little big; started leaking after 3 months
Overall a nice boot, but it runs about a half a size too big. Not a huge deal - I just wear thicker socks to compensate, which is OK since I wear them in the winter. They are not waterproof but the stitching came a bit loose between the upper and the sole, and started taking in water on wet days. They are still under warranty so I'll return to Timberland for free repair or replacement. If I could do it over, I'd get a half size smaller

Good, Not Great
I had a similar pair that fit fantastic from years ago. These have a bit narrower toe box which ins't good for me. They look great, but fit so so. The pull up strap in the back is pretty useless unless you have baby fingers. If you have a very wide foot, you better order 1/2 to 1 size bigger. I have a wider then average and it's snug. Could be worse, could be better.

GET THE BOOT....SCOOP !!! (The Important Details )
Make no mistake this is a rugged boot. Some may think it's a tad heavy but to me it means quality. The boot has a really nice height but does not look like a snow boot or even a work boot. It looks the way it is suppose to.Look further and you see the excellent detail along with the outstanding construction and workmanship. The boot is not overdone. The twin-gore entry is a nice functional touch. I'm guessing the leather is an oiled leather as it has that look. If so, oiled leather wears like iron and as waterproof as leather gets. I sprayed them with a Kiwi waterproof spray just in case I'm wrong. What I also like about the leather is that it is not your typical real brown or dark brown color. This rich color has a high end lively presentation and is ever so slightly distressed with beautiful visible grain. It gives the look of serious casual comfort. The boot does not disappoint because they are surprisingly comfortable. The foot bed has a thick rubber underside and the sole is gladiator worthy and well designed for all season traction for sure. In addition, the boot is quiet. Timberland got this boot right in every way.My size 11 is my normal size for all footwear and so I ordered size 11 and they fit perfect. The single back pull is a nicer look than the back/front combo pull which looks tacky to me. The removable foot bed is nice but even nicer is that if and when needed it can be replaced to your liking or needs. So the question is whether the boot is worth the price. Given the high quality materials, superb construction, great looks, comfort and expected outstanding durability, I thinks it is priced below it's true value.

Quality boot
I wanted a good leather boot for winter rainy/slushy weather in the Northwest. These are perfect - no zipper as I wanted, and a good thick rubber sole. Very comfortable

Two years later - still my favorite
I literally wear these shoes EVERY DAY. I only have two other pairs of shoes - dress shoes and running shoes - and these shoes have been perfect for EVERYTHING. They're great for hiking, they're great for the city, they're great in snow (maybe a little slippery on ice), they're not even that bad in the heat (my feet just get a little sweaty). These shoes have been everything for me.The souls are still intact, not even that worn, there are no holes. The elastic sides started fraying about a year in, but it doesn't really bother me or affect how they fit.Overall, I love them! They're currently shown as out-of-stock for some reason which makes me nervous, because I definitely intend on buying these again if possible. But who knows when that'll be because they're still going strong!

Perfect fit.
It's great, originally wanted the brown one, but they were all sold out.The black one is great for work, but is not as nice as the brown version.a lot of the nice features are lost with the black colour.

Nice boots!
Beautiful work on this boot. Size 10 fits like a 10. The boots base has some good tread and they work well with jeans business casual dress.

Comfortable and functional
Great boots, comfortable and look great with jeans. Easy break in and fit my orthotics with no issues putting them on top of existing foot bed. Recommend

Nice Boot
Great looking boot. Comes a little larger than expected. I would probably order half a size down.
