Bought for bodyboarding, keeping for swim training
My shoe size: Men's 11.5W to 12M. Purchased size G.Daughter's shoe size: Women's 9.5. Purchased size E.Purchased March 2014. Did a ton of review research on sizing after reading early reviews. Followed the size chart at [...]oth pairs fit perfectly. While doing research I noticed a lot of people saying these allowed for quick kicks. They have a little flex but nowhere near that of diving fins. Just what we needed for bodyboarding. If you're going to use these for bodyboarding though, fin tethers are a MUST. While my fins were snug, it meant nothing the couple times I was rolled in the waves. I would have lost both. The only issue was a no obvious place to attach fin tethers. Intent on using these fins, I ordered some tethers (made by Creatures of Leisure) and broke out my power drill with a 9/64 drill bit. I didn't want to drill through the heel, back, or top of the fins since the fin material is thinner there. Instead, I drilled a hole right through the tough fin spine about an inch from the end closest to the foot hole, worked the bit around to loosen the hole, and then pushed the end of the fin tether through the hole by hand with the same drill bit.The result was excellent. I could get up to speed to catch the waves, ride them out, and look ducky when I hit the beach. It was a blast, and we came back with all our fins.

Build Leg Strength with Zoomer Z2's
I started swimming to rehab a hip injury. After a year of swimming, my sartorius muscle was finally getting better, but my knee and outer hip were hurting and feeling out of alignment. My glute had also weakened. These fins are correcting all those problems. I immediately noticed the muscles around my knee getting stronger, as well as the outer hip. As for the glutes, these things target them. Go easy at first, though, because the day after my second time swimming with these, I could barely walk my glute was so tender, but that's probably just me, since I was injured. The fit is very comfortable and accurate to shoe sizes. I haven't gotten any blisters or irritation.

These fins are fantastic. I swim 3-4 times a week and besides my goggles these are my go to equipment. The best thing about these zoomers is that they are flexible and move with you. In my case, they add a little buoyancy which helps to relieve some of the strain off of my back which will become painful if over used. Lastly, these fins are fun, and I for one have a hard time sticking to a workout I don't enjoy. Purchase these zoomers, you will not regret it.

Blisters
I'm new to lap swimming and therefore am experimenting with gear. I first bought size I fins that turned out to be so large they fell off my feet. Size H fits better for my 13 1/2 wide feet. However, the first time I used them they created horrible blisters on the top knuckles of three center toes on each foot. I tried using petrolium jelly but that just reopened the sores. I'm going to have to heal up before trying again - this time with Finis Footbooties to see if that helps. I'll post an update as things progress. Suggestions welcome. It will be at least two weeks before my feet heal enough to try again.

the fins are working fine.
I purchased my shoe size but the fit is not tight enough. As the fins move up and down in the water, the space between the top of my toes and the inside of the fins are too much and rub against each other. After a few uses, i have a bruise on one of my toes.Other than that, the fins are working fine.

I read numerous reviews of the Z2 Zoomers before ordering and many people warned that the sizing of the Z2 Gold Fins were larger than stated. I wear a size 12 Wide, I never fit into a size 11.5 shoe, and the Size H (Mens 12-13) Z2 Zoomer fin was at least 1/2 inch too long for my size 12 foot.On the web site, Size H was supposed to be for mens 12 to 13Written on the fins themselves, size H claims to be for mens size 11.5 to 13I would estimate that Size H really would fit men's 12.5 to 13.5

Great for beginner swimmers and advanced working on technique
I am a swim instructor. I have been very pleased with these fins. First, they are not cumbersome and difficult to use. Second, the transition from fins to no fins is rather seamless. Third, they have last me a good amount of time so far. I will check back later to let you know how they continue to hold up! They are also great for advanced swimmers working on technique.

Great for leg conditioning!
I pull about 50 laps a day, six days a week but I have been having problem with my knees. I tried the Zoomers out and cannot believe what a difference it makes -- not only in my workout, but for my knees. No longer do I have the knee-pain and I think this is due to the Zoomers. They force you to use different muscles -- upper leg, calves and ankle -- and reduce the pressure on knees. The Zoomers arrived quickly, were true to fit, and seem to be constructed of good material.I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to swim as a serious exercise routine. Mind you, the Zoomers do not make you go faster...they make you kick smoother and actually provide a more fiercer cardiovascular work-out.

Tolle Flossen
