Very easy to use
Very impressive high-quality pressure cooker, very easy to use, no learning curve! I use boiling water from a tea pot, pressure is achieved with in just a minute or two.For me this is a life changer! However Cuisinart does not offer a replacement gasket :( it’s a five star product but I will probably be returning because of thisUpdate. It’s an awesome pressure cooker and yes you can get replacement gasket directly from the company, it’s a keeper!

Great pressure cooker and worth the price!
I've been using this pressure cooker morning, noon, and night for over a year. It has been fantastic!I live in an RV full-time, and needed something I can use on my stove top since I don't always have 110v service. Cooks oats, brown rice, and stews in less time than traditional methods, which saves a lot of propane. It also makes cakes, if you can find a good recipe! (I got mine from the book "Vegan Under Pressure") Meats, now that I'm back on the carne, come out moist and tender.I'm a big eater, so six-quart model worked out perfect for me!

Two pressure settings and simple to use.
I liked the fact that it had two pressure settings which is a must for me. I have been using a 40 years old Presto cooker for years and kept it for larger meals, such as my annual corned beef and cabbage recipes, but this is so great for smaller and more frequent use. I use it consistently for beans, and more rarely, for meat.So very simple to use and great for those not used to pressure cooking.

This Pressure Cooker is High Quality
I was introduced to pressure-cooking 40 years ago by my mother. She had a Presto cooker and she used it often to reduce cooking time. So, I’ve always liked using a pressure cooker myself. This Cuisinart cooker is a little expensive, but it is well worth the money. It is high quality and well designed, and it lives up to the high standards that Cuisinart is known for. Cooker is high quality stainless steel and heats food quickly. Because of its high heat conductivity, high heat is not needed. The pressure lid can be set for high pressure or low, plus it has a third position for releasing steam after cooking for foods that required “quick release” of pressure. If you like pressure cookers, this is the cooker for you.

Ease of use
I like the ease of use in locking the lid. In addition, not having to deal with the multi-use electric cooker makes cleanup much more efficient.

Excellent quality
This pressure cooker is very well-made and easy to use. I have had several p.c. over 50 years and this is definitely the best quality. I am especially impressed with how fast it reaches full pressure, which speeds cooking, and with the safety features.

Takes getting used to....
First of all, very difficult to assess when the right level of pressure has been achieved. Manual says something like "maintain a slow steady steady stream of steam." I'm sorry, but that's a judgment call. "Slow" compared to what? The manual also describes "two pressure release methods" but then in the recipe booklet (for legumes), describes a third method involving putting the cooker under cold water in the sink to hasten the process. Two questions here: Why not provide legume recipes that do not involve the sink method? Why is this technique not described in the main instruction booklet? Also, one of the black handles on mine apparently chipped on the first usage. I don't even know how it happened, if it even occurred after I received it.Overall, I find the unit heavy and difficult to use, and good luck finding recipes online. 90% are for "instant pots"; Indian recipes calibrate pressure cooking by the number of whistles.Too much trial and error involved with the scant Cuisinart instructions. Frankly, I remain scared of this thing.
