Q: It is a good deal working with it for rendering and virtual walkthrough?

Absolutely not. The voltages needed for that will annihilate the chip in HOURS, unless you're running a peltier, dry ice, or LN2. Even a water chiller running at near freezing temps will probably only get you to 4.2GHz safely. Unlike with 1st gen Ryzen AMD has not given a max safe voltage for 2nd gen. Really, there is NO "max safe voltage," it's a "max safe voltage @ a certain temperature." PBO already knows those limits so don't even bother with a manual OC unless you're running sub-zero cooling. I, and a lot of others have experienced how Ryzen 2nd gen degrades first hand: https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/amtnt4/ryzen_generation_2_safeunsafe_voltages_tested/ Do NOT trust techtubers and review sites that just build the pc, run some benchmarks at 4.2GHz/1.4v+ and tear it down a few days later.

No that's a am4 socket. Threadripper is a tr4 socket. Your looking for a motherboard with a x399 chipset.
