broken in the mail
i bought the black intova camera and i was looking at the reviews and it was mixed emotions so i decided to give it a try. took 2 days to get to my house and when i opened it i realized that one of the buttons on the case snapped off when it got here. i was kinda upset but i still wanted to try it out so i took it out of the case and put my sandisk micro sd card in that i also got from amazon (i realized the sd card was a fake one but still decided to use it to try it out) i put the sd card in and i charged it at the same time. when i turned it on it started saying two things, pc cam and msdc and being the dumb person i am did not know what that was so i looked it up. after doing a 5 min research it said thatit had to do something with the sd card. so i tried the sd card in my laptop just to make sure it was the sd car but i turns out it wasn't so i did more researching and turns out that you can't take photos and charge it the same time. picture quality is expected, when you make a video there's no speaker on the camera so you can't hear the audio until you put the sd card in your device to hear it. i don't like how you have to take the camera out every time you want to change the setting to film or picture or if u want to play something back or look at a picture. i'll be returning this camera since the button is broke and i'll buy a new one because i was looking for cheap camera to bring to my 6th grade school camp and i think this will be perfect to capture some memories since i can't bring my phone. i really hope this review helps and the micro sd card i got was the sandisk micro sd card with adapter and its amazons choice i got 16gb but i think you should buy one at the store since this one is fake.

Can be used like a "go pro" if you have the accessories
For the price this is a little gem of a camera. Can be used like a "go pro" if you have the accessories. Loved that it floats as I was worried about dropping it in the ocean! But the adjustable wrist cord can be as loose or tight on your wrist as you need it. There are two buttons on top, one for power and the other for picture. After I jumped in the water to snorkel I turned on the camera. I don't remember it timing out on me, so I don't know if it would if you accidentally left it on, but for snorkeling I liked that it was "ready" to go for the shot! You can shoot video with this, but you would have to take it out of its protective case to switch to video mode, and vice versa to switch back to camera. We made sure it was just on camera mode. We were going on our first snorkel in the Caribbean, and researched disposable cameras. This little guy is very affordable. If you buy, get a Micro SD card too. Also, charge it first. When I first got it, I also took some test pictures and looked at them on my computer to make sure it was capturing to the Micro SD Card. On our trip, I was able to get about 150 photos on one charge. There is no flash so the picture quality is going to depend on the "light" conditions in the water. Having said that, I think the pictures turned out great. The water wasn't crystal clear so my pictures weren't either, but they are exactly the way I remembered them being. Being that most disposable cameras give you 27 exposure, this gives you way more pictures to make sure you capture as many as you can, knowing that some will be great and others won't. The only con I would say is the screen is so small and you can't really tell if you are capturing what you want. I just literally pointed to where I thought I should be aiming and shot the picture. Yes, I had some misses but way more hits than misses. Yes, even got some decent selfies underwater too! Took out on the river kayaking too, and had photos taken in the pouring rain (yea waterproof!)! Didn't realize that the Caribbean gets so much rain. Yes, it rains but just as quickly cleared up, so was nice to have the waterproof option just in case. Also, did ok as a regular everyday camera, but when we had sunny days I liked my cell phone camera better as I could see what I was aiming at and the quality of picture is a bit sharper on a cell phone.

You get what you pay for! Underwater camera, no frills, and it's TINY
Okay, let's be serious here. We're talking about a $28 underwater camera. Keep that in mind.My husband and I generally buy a disposable waterproof camera for our vacations and then pay a mint to have the *film developed* and get the pictures on a CD (which we can't even use) and maybe 3 out of 30 pictures are good. Time to get into the next century, but for barely any cost. This will save us money in the long run (no more developing!), plus the LCD screen is easier to use than holding a disposable up to your face through a snorkel mask, and the photos go on a micro SD card so we can review and delete pics. Also there's video. This thing is laughably tiny. I seriously wasn't prepared for how teeny it would be from the reviews, but I love that I can throw it in my bag and not think about it, or wear it on my wrist during snorkels and it won't be banging against my arm while I'm swimming.Don't get such a cheapo camera if you're into high quality photos, but if you used to use disposables like us and want to take some pics underwater, this will work. Also it is seriously tiny.Perfect for children. Holy cow is this great for a little one.

Where is the user guide?
Well, so far, I haven't used it, but it surprises me there is no user guide included? Especially for such a very small camera that you can't even read the buttons or make out the icons??This camera is like an inch wide to 2 inches long ( these are my guesstimate I have not measured it)But this very tiny camera has very tiny weenie buttons,And even the icons on the screen are very difficult for me to discern what they are? Or what they are supposed to do? Overall so far on day one with my camera? I am surprised at how complicated it is with so many settings? Especially since I didn't even get a user manual. I got this camera because everyone said they used it for their children and it was a very simple looking camera? But it it's not really that simple in my opinion. There's a ton of buttons and choices and options and I don't even know what these things are for?

For fun but not serious photography
Did not leak. That was my main concern so before I put the camera in the case, I closed the case without the camera and submerged it at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket of water for 24 hours. Not a drop! Took it diving and had fun making pics and vid of somewhat low quality and will use this as a practice camera until I want to spend $400 to $500 on what I will need.
