Solid Wrestling Shoes
High quality shoes. I like the fitting of them for the mat. Instead of a full shoe tongue one side is attached, making it slightly easier to put on. Recently wore them to a tournament and placed for the first time.

Great Quality, slim fit
The quality of these were great, they ran slim so may not be a good match for someone with narrow feet.

Had to size up & replace the laces.
After wearing these for a week or so, they now fit my son great. We did have to order a full size larger than his regular shoes. The shoe strings are pretty short & dont stay tied for very long. Im going to have to replace them. But other than that, these are great for the price.

Try them on before buying somewhere, and look them over well.
These are not sized to conform with Brannock device measurements. Not even a little bit, not even close. I normally wear an 11, and had to size up to a 13. Even then, the toebox is still narrow for me, and if you have wider feet, good luck getting a 13W. All that is easily enough remedied. Just go to your local sporting goods store, and try them on before ordering. I instruct hard skills for a living, and being on my feet on wrestling mats all day, I had seen these as a reasonable solution, especially since I’d seen so many wrestlers and fighters rocking them out on the mats. I did give them a good looking over, and the shoe is handsome, but roughly made. There was glue visible on the suede portions, which you don’t expect to see on a pair of shoes you paid 80 bucks for. Because I couldn’t get a wide option, I ended up having to ship them back, and I went with a pair of Nike Speedsweeps instead. Sizing was closer, and the toe box meets my hobbit shaped feet needs.

Asics Wide
Good stuff overall. Best to try them on beforehand if you can so you can get the size right. The sizing on them is almost meaningless. I normally wear a 10.5 wide, had to go a full size up to 11.5 wide. The previous version I was at 11, and an earlier version it was right on. The only thing I don't like about this version is the tongue being attached on one side, but, this is the only major brand that seems to make wide wrestling shoes in terms of Asics, Nike, Adidas, etc. I also have the Chinese ones branded as Sisttka, and they have been pretty decent and much lower cost. I am using those ones for boxing.
