Mysteries of Old Chinatown transports you to Chinatown where you must solve one of 40+ crimes (crimebook included) to win the game. Move around the board to different venues. At each venue use a Super Cool Reveal feature (if we tell you what they are it will spoil the surprise) to find the clues. Once you have all the clues prove youãre the best detective and solve the case.

Mysteries of Old Chinatown Boardgame
Now residing with our children and grandchildren in NZ. They are great board gamers and puzzle fixers and this suits them down to the ground. Its interesting that it satisfies the curiosity and creative needs not only of the 6 and 9 year old grandchildren but also that of the their mid-30's parents. It has proven a sure fire winner all round and I would recomend this boardgame for people of any age who can satisfy their creative need without recourse to an electronic gadget.

Good game play
Good game play, fast moving game . Unfortunately the racial stereotyping is dodgy, this is the kind of game that should have been left in the fifties.

i had this game as a child so i bought it for my kids and they love it too. its a murder mystery 'whodunnit' game. takes a bit of time to set up but great for teaching kids the process of elimination and really good fun. best game we've got.

Chinatown Boardgame
I bought this as a Christmas Present and therefore have not yet played it, but as it is similar to the Mysteries of Old Peking I reckon it will very entertaining. We played for hours with Old Peking, a refreshing change from electronics!

A birthday present for granddaughter aged 10 years.
We grandparents were among the earliest group to play the game. I found it fascinating to see how the young children reacted to the "Mysteries of Old Chinatown". I'm sure it will be helpful in developing reasoning skills.

Still my son's favourite
We bought this game a few years ago and it is still my 10 year old son's favourite. It is based on a Cluedo crossed with Who's Who type format. The game changes every time you play it and does not last too long, just the right amount of time. This is a firm family favourite and I recommend it.
