Ohaus SJX1502N/E Scout Gold 1500g x 0.01g NTEP

I bought this scale as a replacement for a very old Acculab 200g electronic scale that was wearing out. I also have an everyday 5kg electronic scale for use when quantities get large. The most important criterion for the new scale was that it resolve to and be repeatable at a fraction of a gram: in my everyday baking I often have to scale out quantities of yeast of less than one gram. I've now had the Ohaus scale for more than six weeks and used it for both everyday baking and large baking projects and found it to be a joy to use.The first thing to note is that, with its upper limit of 1500g, it allows me to leave the 5kg scale in the drawer for most of my baking. Since the Ohaus is by far the better scale of the two, I'm getting more accurate ingredient weights and, therefore, more consistent baking results. Better results with less fuss!Second, all the evidence so far suggests that this scale meets my requirements for repeatability. The evidence comes from cases in which I've scaled too much into a plastic container and have to remove some of the ingredient to get to the correct weight. The scale responds as smoothly to reductions as it does to additions, even in tiny (less than one gram) amounts.Third, the display is large and illuminated; very good things for these old eyes.Lastly, the display/button area is well-sealed against flour; the weighing platform is easily removed for cleaning; and the scale has a very low profile so it fits well in my shallow (about three inches deep) drawer.If you are a frequent and fussy baker like me, you'll love this scale.

I love this Weight! Made a Great decision with this.. i was nervous but Ohaus is a solid brand and now my work is much easier, i wouldn't doubt to buy again another Ohaus with more capacity. This one is great for my cosmetic lab, for small batches (up to 1.5 kg). The product arrived great, well packaged, i've been using it for months and had no problems with it. I love that you can connect it to power electricity so you can keep measuring without the fear of losing the number.

Bought this scale for weighing precious metals. Very sensitive. Breathing on it will register a weight. Could not be happier. Quality product. Thought it was a bit pricey at first, but you get what you pay for.

I actually purchased this scale because a YouTube named Taralee recommended it, for cosmetics. So far I really love it, I am looking forward to making excellent and accurate product with the scale.

It is an excellent relationship between quality / price,  Exact precision of 2 digits after zero, the only thing to take keep in mind is that you must buy separately a standard mass to calibrate it, for everything else I recommend buying it, I arrive on time and very well sealed.
