- Economical Starter Size Plant growing in a 4 inch diameter pot. Plant will average a 6 to 10 inches tall. No bloom or bud on arrival.
- Clerondendrum paniculatum is a large upright growing semi-tropical flowering shrub that produces interesting, striking and very showy panicles of small orange to peach colored florets in cycles throughout the warm season beginning in mid to late summer and lasting until Fall.
- It is commonly called Starshine or Pagoda Flower and is a great choice for creating size and interest quickly. Plants are fast growing with an upright stacked pyramid shape. Large hand sized leaves in shiny green extend almost laterally in layers along a large central stalks.
- The best location for Starshine Pagoda Flower is in full sun to light shade. The plant will grow in deep to moderate shade, but flowering is reduced in proportion to decreasing light levels. Young plants should be acclimated to full sun slowly and irrigation monitored closely.
- Clerondendrum paniculatum is a Semi-Tropical plant. It is recommended for growing outdoors in USDA Zones 8, 9, 10 and is considered root hardy in Zone 8 once well established. Plants enter a dorman resting phase in winter where they drop most or all the leaves and rest until Spring.
