I got his expensive one because it had a "Viking" part number on it thinking it must be better. It broke a few months later and a generic one at 20% the price is exactly the same and still chugging right along in my fridge. I got a backup at the same time since the generic was so cheap and having your fridge warm is a pain!. punch the model # into G00g1e to find a supply store that carries a generic.
