Great guitar for the price.
I've played for about 14-15 years now..and started off with a pretty decent $300 Fender acoustic. Have also played many electrics and such since then but my passion lies in acoustic. Once I got it tuned via a free online site and my ears..(after a lot of stuff happening and losing most of my possessions to a flood and not playing for roughly 3 years) I was very eager to play again. This guitar sounds amazing. Whatever strings came with it are pretty good quality and it just crisp as can be. After using a beat around 13 year old guitar that has seen its battles..this was unbelievable.I would easily pay more than the price for a acoustic only, but the electric option makes it even more of a bargin. If you're just starting out and want something better than a Wal-Mart guitar, or if you're low on cash and need a new one..this really is a great option.5/5 easily..once I pop some Elixer strings on this bad boy its going to make my ears melt with happiness.

Is a Yamaha!
Of course Yamaha product quality is a universal fact. How they keep churning high quality products is a matter of corporate pride, I guess. The guitar is flawless as far as construction and materials. The sound is predictably Yamaha and you have to get used to it. Very metal quality sound in the high notes and soft low sound in low register, almost muffled. But it play's with the precision of a Yamaha instrument, perfect pitch with unquestionable precise clarity. Then again is a Yamaha. One thing that I did not expect was a longer than “usual” neck but other that what’s not to like. I'm sure I will provide many years of beautiful music for the family.

Holy Cow this Guitar is an Awesome Value!!!
This guitar is marketed as a "beginner guitar" but man, this thing sounds great! For $189, you can't really beat it.I own a decent collection of acoustic guitars and electric guitars. All I wanted to do was buy a somewhat cheap, acoustic electric guitar and found this highly rated Yamaha FX325. The guitar actually arrived 3 days earlier than it stated on Amazon.com, so that was awesome. But this guitar sounds fantastic.I have a Martin D-28, and it's kind of like my bench mark for how I think an acoustic guitar should sound. And this Yamaha FX325 isn't quite a Martin guitar, but let me tell you this....I'll be playing this thing more often than my Martin for song writing at home and just general jamming out with friends in my basement. The action is nice. It doesn't sound as loud or boomy as my Martin, but it's very acceptable and decent. It doesn't feel cheap or anything either. If I didn't know the price, after playing this guitar I would think it was a $500 guitar. I am giving this guitar a high ranking because of the value. For $189, based on the playability and the sound quality of this instrument, I would definitely recommend this guitar.

Wonderful Beautiful
I played guitar years ago up until an accidental injury to my left hand left me unable to play. I determined to learn to play again, and began looking for a reasonably price, easy to play instrument. It is a great guitar for the price-- well, by my standards it is a great guitar. Maybe after I've had a few thousand hours practice I'll feel the need to move up to a $600-1000 guitar, but for now this more than adequately meets my needs. Arrived well packaged almost over night.

I am glad that I got an awesome guitar at an affordable cost. It is of high quality in all respects and I enjoy playing it. Today I got an amplifier and the amplified tone of guitar is simply excellent. My transaction with the seller was very good. It was well packed and delivered on time. I strongly recommend Yamaha FX325 for those who seek a quality acoustic/electric guitar at affordable cost.

NIce Guitar
This is a nice affordable guitar. I have a couple of complaints but they are to be expected I suppose. The interior bridge work is a bit sloppy. The strings are a bit high from the frets making a bit rough on my finger tips.Sound is very good both acoustic and electric.

Music to my ears
I bought this for my son for Xmas last year and I have to say it's the best money I have ever spent on him. We got a video game that you connect up and learn cords while playing the game. The idea was to get him away from video games but you have to start that process slow. He's picked it up and hasn't stopped playing yet. He even took guitar lessons at school this year. The guitar was a great starter for him and he loves it. I loved it so much that I got a second one for his Dad and now I get serenades. Good deal for a good guitar.
