Merrell Women's Sylva Tall Waterproof Snow Boot

These winter boots fit as expected. I am between 7 and 7.5 for my normal shoes, so I ordered 7.5. They fit snugly with 2 pair of socks, better if 1 pair is thinner. When I had 2 pair wool socks on, I had to push hard to step in. The boots are very warm, waterproof and good looking. I was wearing a pair of HH winter boots before I ordered these Merrell boots, because the HH boots need to be laced up, but the Merrell boots have zippers (easier to put on). I have rather thick calf, so when I was wearing 3 layers of pants, it was tight at the top of the boots. I have been wearing these boots during my daily walks in town at 0 degrees in Chicago, on icy sidewalks, so far so good. I am happy with my Merrell winter boots and recommend them highly. BTW, I like my HH winter boots as well. Now I have two pairs to alternate.

I absolutely love these boots! Merrell's are such a terrific brand and so, so comfortable. These boots are not only adorable on (I get compliments on them every time I wear them), but they are toasty warm and waterproof. Bought them when I was in Montana in October and tested them during a light snowfall. Walked all day in them and my feet felt great. Can't guarantee how they'll handle The deep snow, but here in Fort Worth they are perfect for when the temps do drop and we get that cold wet weather.

These boots were purchased for my wife. This is her review. The boots arrived in a large box and appear as in the photos on Amazon. This color was the least expensive and they are very attractive boots. I normally wear a size 9/9.5 women's shoe size. I purchased a size 10 as I anticipated I would be wearing thick winter socks. The boots fit fine with thick socks and wear comfortably. Foot doesn't feel stuffed in boot. Pants can easily be worn inside boot or outside. Outside covers up beautiful styling especially on the back of the boot. Bought them for function not fashion as we get >160" of snow. Wore them for two hours snow blowing in 14 degree weather. They were warm and dry and had great traction on both ice and snow. Appear to be very well constructed. Hope they wear well over time. I have an average sized calf and narrow ankles. The vertical portion of the boot does flair outward for your calf, but if you have wide or thick calves, this portion my be snug. Only wish they were taller. Good price for Merrell quality.

I love these boots. They are a bit tight around the calf area but I knew they would be before I bought them and they work perfectly with skinny jeans. Very warm and comfortable and great tread on he bottom. I live in Michigan so I’m excited to see how they last over the winter but given my previous experience with Merrell’s they shouldn’t have a problem. They definitely fit true to size. I normally wear a 7 or a 7.5 depending on the brand, however I ordered these in a 7 and they fit perfectly. A 7.5 would definitely be too big.

I'm a true 7 1/2 with a slightly wider foot. I ordered an 8 expecting to wear heavier socks at times. They fit great are very comfortable (with about that 1/2 size extra) and are exactly what I was hoping for. I am wearing them walking through some brush and top of the foot and front of the boot is getting scuffed up, so they are probably not a real "all terrain" boot. They are perfect for me though because I am outside, then go to work and then out at the store/bank where ever all in the same day. They are easy to drive in and great for walking in. Don't need to change footwear. They are not great to sit inside with them on for hours but not the fault of the boot. The only other thing is that the ties will untie, so I had to knot them. The boots are super cute and I have had several comments on them. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or buy another pair.

Cute boots, warm, dry and practical for walking in snow and wet snow. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are snug getting your foot into, but once on, the fit is excellent and the insole is heavenly. I will review again after walking to work for a month, but expect they will be great performers.

Love love love these boots!! I shopped for quite a long time till I found these. They live up to merrell quality. They are very warm, very comfortable and look nice with a variety of outfits. The zippers are solid, never have any trouble zipping them. Id highly recommend them to anyone who values comfort and quality!

These are great boots. They are super comfortable, warm, and I get tons of compliments on them. They were a little stiff at first but broke in nicely after wearing a few times. I have a high instep, and they were pretty tough to get on at first but a lot easier now. I've worn them in the snow and all around for work outside, and they seem to be good quality and holding up very well after several months of wearing them often. The opening at the top is not too wide but wide enough that it's easy to tuck jeans in even if they are not super skinny jeans. They are pretty light and don't look bulky at all.

Beautiful quality boots. Strong, sturdy and warm with very good grip. They fit just as hoped, despite usually having issues with sizing due to fairly wide feet, these boots fit like a dream comfort wise. The seller packaged them carefully, which I appreciate tenfold. Die Stiefel sehen sehr gut aus, sind gut verarbeitet und bequem. Leider ist die Sohle im Vergleich zu anderen Winterschuhen sehr glatt. Auf leicht überfrorenem Boden kann man kaum noch laufen. Außerdem ist mir das Futter für einen Winterstiefel zu dünn. Die oberen 7cm des Stiefelschaftes sind mit Kunstfell gefüttert, der Rest jedoch nur mit einem dünnen Fleecefutter.Schade, ich bin enttäuscht.

Sehr bequem, meine erste Merrell Stiefel. Die Optik koennte etwas weiblicher und verspielter sein. Die Sohle ist zum Teil rutschig, da besteht Verbesserungsbedarf.

Love this boot! Super comfy and can adjust tightness on ankles with the ties. Shipping was very quick and the product was exactly as I expected.
