Awesome CDMA smartphone with a traditional headphone jack. It is HIGHLY recommended.
Purchased from Amazon vendor: Edge CellularAccessories included: OEM LG charger and white LG OEM USB-A to USB-C cablePackaging: White, generic, but sturdy (refurbished style) packagingDocumentation included: None, except for EIN/IMEI and 'passed inspection' labelCondition received: Like new; no scratches noticeablePros:1. Large storage - 128GB2. Fast processor3. This LS998 works with Ting flawlessly in either CDMA (Sprint) or GSM mode, your choice.4. The rear camera is superior!5. Water resistant6. Standard 3.5mm headphone jack - YAY!7. Hi-Fi Quad DAC for superior headphone audioCons:1. Blue-shift display issue (It's real. But I got over it and moved on)2. Battery is not user interchangeable by design3. (minor) Volume switches are on the left side of the phone4. (minor) Photos taken with volume switches on top of phone (landscape) are naturally upside-down5. Smartphone feels naked and inappropriate without a protective case.Notes:Uses USB-C reversible connectors.Do check the vendor CONDITIONS field before purchasing. Caveats and differences from the original product page should be noted there. Please ask Amazon or myself if you need clarification on what that means. The display's blue-shift that has been complained about is real. When viewing the screen more than ten degrees off, it starts to shift blue. Or a more accurate description is that the green and (especially) red wavelengths of light are somehow only able to easily pass though perpendicularly through the screen surface. If I were spending $900 or more on my phone, I'd probably want it to be perfect and might be really 'triggered' by this blue-shift. But at the price I paid for it, I got over the blue-shift in about 5 minutes. I'm not going to be sharing a movie with others on my smartphone. Most (if not all) of the time, the phone display is going to be viewed at one person at a time. Come to think of it, I honestly wouldn't mind if my phone had a PRIVACY screen that blocked the display COMPLETELY when viewing beyond twenty or thirty degrees from perpendicular. With the continuous advancements of security cameras these days, do we really need a smartphone display that gives near-perfect 180 degree viewing angles while we're inputting or viewing sensitive information (in public spaces)? I don't, for sure! The smartphone feels like a piece of sculpted crystal glass when held. It's not a comfortable feel. Even though the edges are rounded, the hardness of the glass surface doesn't feel proper. This is subjective (of course). A big part of that perception could be because the V30+ has been protected by an Incipio case virtually since first use (and that I'm REALLY happy with the case). Incipio LG V30 / V30 Plus DualPro Case - Black Feel free to ask questions and/or comment. And thank you for clicking on HELPFUL if applicable.Update: Removed Beta review references. After using the phone for over a year, I am completely satisfied with it. I'd buy another one if a reputable vendor was selling it. We have three of these phones in use within the family, and we don't have to "think" or "worry" about our phones at all!

Won't work with Sprint.
This phone will not work with Sprint. However my girlfriend stuck her T mobile SIM card in and it instantly worked. Sprint has their system riggged where you have to buy phones from them for it to work. I'm keeping this phone and going to TMobile today. I think Sprint can shove it. Other than this hassle, I love the features and speed of this phone.Update 1/11/2019:After a week of using Oreo 8.0 software I've discovered they pretty much gutted Nougat and took us backwards 5 years. No text background photo option. No text bubble color changing option, no more ".com" key, the emojis look 10 years old. It's safe to say texting is not nearly as easy or fun as before.

Will not activate
I bought this phone about a week ago and i have only had it for about 3 days now. Throughout these 3 days I haven't been able to activate this phone, the first time i went to the Sprint store they told me I can activate it at home. I tried and tried but couldn't get it to work for some reason. I went back today and I was sitting and waiting for 2 hours as the employees try to figure out what the hell is wrong with this phone. In the end, we did everything including factory resetting it and it STILL refuses to activate. This sucks because now i have no phone at all, and i purchased a screen protector that is now trash. I would also like to mention that I purchased this phone for $684 and now its $827?

Missing SIM Card
The phone came in good condition but the seller didn't put a SIM card in it! Why would you sell a Phone without a SIM Card! Its like selling a Car without Tires! Luckily SIM Cards are FREE at your local Cellular Company. All I can say is WTF? I will also need to replace the Battery but I can do that. I just can't make shift a SIM Card. All in all, I am going from a Samsung to an LG. I wanted to try something new. Missing SIM card? REALLY BRO?

Verify that the phone comes with a SIM card
Was not able to activate the phone with my provider and had to return the phone. Even though the vendor stated that the phone would work on my network, the Sprint associates spent over 2 hours without success

I live in ALASKA, thought I'd have to return this...
I absolutely LOVE that it works here where I live. My SIM card is different than Sprint's but it still works. Just LOVE all the gigs I have to take pics of my granddaughter!
