OtterBox 77-24444 Commuter Series Hybrid Case for LG Optimus G LS970 (Sprint) - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Black

Received in in the mail earlier than expected. Received in good condition and without any damages to the packaging or the casing itself. Put it on and it was a perfect fit. Everything about it was perfect and simple except one small issue where the soft portion of the casing was slightly expanded at the front below the earphone jack and to the left of the earpiece. Because of this, it wasn't a perfect fit though it didn't hinder with my usage of the phone at all. Screen protector is also included in the packaging but I don't want to use it. I'm not THAT rough with my phone. Overall good purchase, would recommend this to anyone who needs something more than the TPU or silicone casings out there. I was using the LG bumper casing before this and the whole glass back was exposed. This one covers it up well. Oh another small issue is that the back of the casing is not totally flat. This can be felt when you put the phone on the table on its back. There is a small portion of the casing protruding out around the speaker. I'm not sure why Otterbox decided to do this but..yeah. Your phone will rock slightly when you put it on a flat surface.

This is one of those times where quality is worth paying for. I tried the $6 cover and it fit like a dead fish. Kudos to the vendor for sending me another when the first was delivered, due to my fault, to a defunct address. But given the quality of the thing they must have still made a profit.By contrast, putting the OtterBox on the LG was like stretch pants on a model. Perfect, like it's part of the phone. Very nice cushiony material covered by a good-quality nylon or plastic cover that can take some punishment. I find I can hold the phone much more securely and safely now as well.

The rubber and hard plastic parts of this case are fantastic. The hard shell takes a little work to get on and off which is exactly how it should be. A close fit is what you want. All the ports have adequate cut-outs and all the buttons are protected but still easily manipulated.The clear screen protector, on the other hand, is garbage. Even after thoroughly wiping the screen with the included "lint-free cloth", the adhesive side of the protector gathered dust from the air before I could even come close to getting it seated squarely over the screen. This led to numerous air bubbles that wouldn't simply work themselves out after a few days because they were caused by tiny specs of dust. I eventually had to toss it.This case is EXPENSIVE, and for the premium price I expected a premium product. I had to spend more money to get a decent screen protector to use with it and make it a complete armor system for my phone. Not cool...Oddly, this seller removed the case from the factory packaging and shipped it in a padded envelope, which meant that I received no instructions. That doesn't strike me as being a very good idea.

This does beef up the size of the phone, but overall it still fits well into pockets--and doesn't cling, as I had feared. I like that I can elect to keep just the soft cover and then add on the hard shell, as I see fit. Unfortunately, I messed up the screen protector, by touching the wrong side, but was awesome to be surprised that it came with the screen sheet!Overall, this is also a brilliant purchase for the extra grip it provides. Before the phone was slick and dropping it was always a fear. With the Otterbox, I have yet to have that fear; the texture matches it well to even moist hands.Highly recommend this case. Especially as one who was brilliant enough to crack and replace the screen twice.

I love this product. I originally got a new phone and needed a case. I didn't want to spend lots of money at the store for an otter box. I checked out amazon and they had one for much cheaper. The product is over 25 dollars and gave me free shipping and it didn't too long to get to my doorstep. Once I received the otter box, it was easy to slip on in a few minutes and it even came with a screen protector. I now have had it on for about 4 months and still works great. I dropped my phone a couple of times and it has held up with no evidence of dropping it. One of the times I dropped the phone with the case was when I was walking on the sidewalk. It hit the cement and flipped a couple of times. To my surprise there wasn't any evidence of even dropping it.I would recommend this product to anyone who has this phone and is needing a protective case. The only negative thing that I have noticed is the rubber case stretching a little bit around the edges. All of my friends have the same problem but is is only slight problem. You can only really notice it if you pull on the rubber case where the plastic doesn't wrap around the phone.

Great case. Makes the phone more thicker so you can't really slide it in and out of your pocket easy. Dropped my phone a few times to test the case. Looks good. Comes with a screen protector too, but I haven't used it yet. Those air bubbles drive me crazy. The back of the case is a hard plastic, so it slides around easy. Wish it had some rubber for grip.

As it is an OtterBox, this protector does a great job of keeping my phone safe. There aren't many cases available for the Optimus G, and this one looked the safest. However, the dimensions are the slightest bit off, even though it is designed for an Optimus G. It gives just too snug of a fit, so it looks awkward on the sides and is very tough to get on right. I also had to cut 1 mm of the headphone port cover because it was impossible to open every time I wanted to put in headphones.

This it the worst fitting phone case I have ever bought! With it being an Otter Box I had high expectations. I read a bunch of the reviews and some of them said that they fit well, and the rest said that they fit horibly! I didn't think much of it and I thought that maybe I woud get a good one, but NOPE! When I got the case I put it on and it didnt fit at all! Along the bottom of the case it was to long, and it bowed out far enough upward that it covered the lower buttons on my phone! Nt a good case! Dont get it!!!
