Lenco Bluetooth Aluminium Tower Speaker with FM Radio and LCD Display - Black/Silver

I paid approx £65 inc carriage. This is very cheap indeed.Lenco have an excellent rep for top audiophile kit.This is a 100W RMS item - comprising, I believe, 50W of subwoofer and a stereo 25W RMS per each of 2 channels mid and high range amp.The (dead) remote needed a new battery to work (CR2025) accessed by gently pushing a paper clip through a hole on the back of the chunky alloy remote.The whole control and led assembly comes out easily from the alloy block.The remote works perfectly with its new battery.The battery was defunct probably because the BTT100 is a discontinued item, so maybe a year or two stuck on a shelf?But it wasn’t going degrade in a sealed padded box!!!Sound quality is excellent. Volume level excellent on BlueTooth connection. I have a plug in Bluetooth adaptor for my old iPod Classic, so no worries.The built in radio seems perfectly fine, but I won’t be using that.The SubWoofer fires at the floor, and its exposed speaker cone is a bit vulnerable. I think I’m gonna make a plastic or board shield, velcroed on the bottom, for when I hump the tower about.The short mains lead had 2 pin plug, so a ‘shaver adaptor plug’ needed for the UK.THE UNIT IS THEREFORE NOT EARTHED, so Bluetooth connection is potentially safer than wired in the event of any unusual fault internal developing - especially if you were touching something itself earthed , like an electric guitar, or a tap say.Notwithstanding the few issues to which I allude, this is an absolutely amazing piece of kit for the money.

The Speaker unit is larger than I imagined it would be but looks impressive and fits neatly in any room. The sound quality is Amazing better than I thought it would be. Im quite fussy when it comes to electric appliances TVs, stereos etc so @ under £70 It is very difficult to find fault with this Lenco Tower. Definitely a 4/5 would be 5/5 but the Remote Control isnt working which I am currently trying to resolve. I would recommend this item as it's great value as long as in working order.

Read previous reviews which were discouraging at first...however, I decided to buy one and I must confess.....I've got a deal here. Unpacked box, only to find a mini Skycrapper.....not a Tower as described lololololol.!!!! Sound quality.....brilliant!!! Had my neighbours pulling their hairs out since it's arrival.....it's been BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!. I am now the Lord of this here Manor. I'll soon have them worship this speaker, every day hence......lololololool!!!

on delivery i was taken back by the size of the box, once set up and connected via bluetooth the sound quality knocked me for six with a serious bass response also the seperate bass & treble controls work really well i got more than i bargained for £70 worth every penny.

Sehr guter Klamg für eine Lautsprechersäule. Leichte Koppelung mit dem Smartphone. Sieht echt stylisch aus. Da hat LENCO wieder gezeigt, was sie können.

Fällt mir schwer zu schreiben über das Gerät, weil es grundsätzlich sehr gut ist und im Grunde auch einen guten Klang abliefert.Ich hadere etwas, weil mich 2 Sachen wirklich stören. Das Gerät ist _übertriebenst_ Basslastig in einem Masse, dass ich mich frage, ob die Zielgruppe nicht eher die Jugendzimmerfraktion darstellt. In der Realität: Am Gerät selbst ist der Bass komplett rausgeregelt, Null, Nada. Bei Verbindung mit einem Android-Phone kann per App-Equalizer der Bass dann nochmal soweit rausgenommen werden, dass der Baßpegel auf ein _normales_ Mass gesenkt werden kann. Bei einem iPhone, was der Hauptverwendungszweck ist, haben wir konkret das Problem eine App zu finden, die es erlaubt, genügend Bass herauszufiltern.Ich möchte bei der Darstellung betonen, dass beide Nutzer sehr wohl 'normale' Bassuntermalung mögen und auch wünschen, also das Problem an der Säule ist schon signifikant.Das 2.e Problem und das fasse ich nicht wirklich.... Die Säule selbst ist wirklich wunderschön und auch hervorragend gearbeitet. Das macht was her, kann man im Zimmer stehen haben. Ja, bis der Blick nach unten gleitet. Der schwarze Fuss ist unterirdisch und erinnert eher an einen billigen Sonnenschirmständer. Da frage ich mich ernsthaft, was man sich dabei gedacht hat. Ende vom Lied ist, dass die Säule nun sehr versteckt im Raum untergebracht ist, weil der Fuss die sonst ausgezeichnete Optik wirklich tötet. Wirklich, das sieht man auf den Fotos so nicht.Da beide Punkte z.T. auch Geschmack reflektiert und ich die Technik, als die Säule selbst durchaus nicht schlecht finde, habe ich nur einen Punkt abgezogen. Zählte dies nicht, wären es 2 geworden.

Ein super Gerät!Heute bekommen und voll begeistert. Top Optik. Top Klang. Einfache Bedienung.Nutzung der Bluetooth Verbindung klappt super.Radio ist auch ok. Allerdings hängt der Empfang vom Aufstellplatz ab. Einen Anschluss per Antennekabel, wäre da natürlich besser als diese Wurfantenne.Die andere Wiedergabe Möglichkeiten habe ich noch nicht getestet. Was ich aber schon sagen kann ist, das es besser wäre wenn der USB und der SD Karten Anschluss oben am Gerät wäre anstatt unten am Sockel.Was ich mich auch noch frage ist, ob die Fernbedienung dauerhaft funktioniert oder ob irgendwann die Batterie leer ist? Wenn dies der Fall wäre, wusste ich nicht wie man die Batterie wechseln könnte. Oder ist die Fernbedienung dann nutzlos?Wäre super wenn mir diesbezüglich jemand eine Info geben könnte.Der Langzeit Test fehlt zwar noch, aber bisher bin ich voll zufrieden und echt überrascht von der 1A Qualität des Towers.Sehr zu empfehlen.Aufgrund der Unklarheit bei der Fernbedienung und des noch nicht möglichen Langzeit Test, ziehe ich ein Stern ab.

Ein tolles Gerät. Absolut mobil! Eine Bereicherung für meine Gartenfeste. Ohne Aufwand im Garten aufgestellt und jeder Gast kann seine Lieblingsmusik über sein Handy oder Tablett an das Gerät streamen oder vom mitgebrachten Stick abspielen. Zur Not auch läuft das Radio. Coole Sache! Wird auch als Musikversorgung im Gästezimmer oder Gästebad genutzt! Toll !!!!!!!!!!!
