Certified Refurbished Amazon Echo Spot - White

This is a nice looking gadget albeit expensive. It was really easy to set up and I could operate my Hive system using Alexa commands. The screen is very small and has a fairly limited field of view so can't really be seen if your side on. The main problem was that the device switched off WiFi ( as in switched off not couldn't connect) and had to be switched on in the system menu. Had to do this 3 times one day. Shows as offline in the Alexa app but WiFi is actually switched off on the device. Googled the problem and it seems that I'm not alone in this experience. This has been an issue for a while now and Amazon points the finger at the users WiFi setup. Must be a lot off users with dodgy WiFi setups! Every other device I have (and I have many!) works fine as does my Amazon show. Obviously a problem with this device and I have returned it. I will probably buy again when the connection issue is resolved.

 I’m a huge fan of Amazon Alexa (I own 2 Echo Dots already) so it was only a matter of time until I purchased the Echo Spot. I’ve had previously good experiences buying Amazon refurbished products (they come fully guaranteed for a year and I’ve never had to return any) and so it was an easy decision to pick this up at a discounted price.Set up, as expected, was seamless and straightforward with the Spot’s touchscreen and I like how you can personalise the background of the clock with your own photos. I think the speakers are very good for use in a small room and the size of the Spot lends itself to either bedside or kitchen countertop.Video works well and the small screen is especially suited for the fantastic screensavers (lots of them with accompanying sounds) that you can find in Amazon skills via the Alexa app. I’ve also been able to stream Amazon Prime movies with no problem.

Totally brilliant, I love it.. cant live without it now 😊Cant even tell it's a refurbished Amazon Echo.. so I brought 2 more for my daughter and daughter inlaw, for an early xmas present because we live 270 miles apart from each other; so we use it for video calling..And best part about it, they didn't know it was a refurbished echo 😊👍Fast delivery too.. 10/10 Amazon.

A radio controlled clock that I've had for years, finally stoped receiving signal, which lead me to purchasing the Echo Spot.Setting up my refurbished Spot (was as easy as Pi to set-up) done in around a minute.First I set the clock face and brightness to my liking, then checked the weather for my area, complete with picture! I then asked for a song....great to see the lyrics appear! Next I tried my favourite radio stations, slightly different how I asked for these on my Spot.....I have to say 'radio' after my station name which I don't on my other Echos, and the sound is great from the built-in speaker, I've yet to connect a bluetooth speaker, but as I'm using my Echo Spot as a bedside table unit I don't really need an external speaker.I've yet to set an alarm to wake me up, but I made one to see how it worked.....it was so easy to set.Overall I am very pleased with my 79.99 refurbished Spot.

Bought this to replace my bedroom alarm clock radio and the refurbished model be sure if the price. Must admit I was a bit dubious as to whether it would be ok. But I needn't have worried about it as it was packaged like brand new. All items individually wrapped. Item was spotless with a protective film cover. It was like brand new. The item is compact, packs a great sound for radio, music and alarms. This is so much more than a clock radio. The technology is mind-blowing.

If thus wasn't sold as a refurbished product you'd swear it was new. Came complete with screen protector in a sealed box and had all the relative literature. Absolute bargain and very happy with it. Thoroughly recommended.

After being thrilled with my Echo Dot 3 I decided to get an Echo Spot for my bedroom. It is a very good clock radio: wakes me up each morning with my favourite Classic FM, and displays the title of the piece being played, as well as the performer. The sound level and quality is adequate, but not as good as my Echo Dot. I chose the 'Certified Refurbished' version in order to save money. Unfortunately it stopped working after one day! But Amazon are always very good with guarantees. They immediately sent me a replacement, which works fine.
