Faultless Starch Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner

I have used Faultless Starch Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner for years. I am a quilter, and my iron gets gunked up with starch, glues, Steam-a-Seam debris, etc. I follow the instructions and Voilà! my iron is clean, with a smooth plate. It is inexpensive, it works well, and it IS MADE IN THE USA (not a Chinese import, which is a definite plus).

If your iron needs a good cleaning after hours of ironing items that may have a strange surface, this cleaner will do a wonderful job. I recently cleaned my stainless steel iron plate easily with this cleaner and now my iron glides over all the clothing articles in my ironing basket!

I tried this and it did take a bit of it off but alot of the burned stains are on it still. Maybe i need to add more elbow grease to it.

I thought I was going to have to replace my expensive Rowenta iron because of stuck on gunk! It occurred to me that perhaps there was a product that would clean it off without scratching the surface. I found one one Amazon.Faultless exceeded my expectations.Read and follow the directions closely, it works!! You can see in the photo the amount of gunk that Faultless removed - and that I still have half a tube for future use.Immediately after cleaning, I ironed an old light brown pillowcase. There was no residue. I am really surprise and impressed, and happy to have saved the $70 it would have cost me to replace my iron.

This stuff is amazing. I had accidently burned sweater fibers on to the soleplate of my iron. I tried every cleaner I could think of and even some of the methods found on the Internet, ie, salt on aluminum foil. I thought I was doomed to buying a new iron. Thank goodness I decided to try this product. It was easy to use and worked like magic! I did need to use the equivalent of 2 of the smaller tubes.
