The PlayHot Portable Handheld Turbo Fan does a great job when it comes to airflow. It’s compact, easy to hold, and the 5 speed levels give you good control over how much wind you want. The fan feels powerful, especially at higher speeds, and it’s quite satisfying. However, the battery life is very disappointing. The description claims up to 20 hours of use when fully charged, but in reality, it only lasts about 3 hours on the lowest speed. That’s a big gap between what’s advertised and what you actually get. Overall, it’s a decent portable fan with strong performance, but the short battery life really limits its practicality. Good for short trips or quick use. However, not ideal if you don’t want to charge it occasionally.

Bought this for half of the price of the other handheld fans listed on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. I tried it outside the moment I received it, and it doesn't help much with the heat, even if you set it on level 5 (the highest setting for the fan). It died after 1-2 hours, but I'm guessing that was because it wasn't fully-charged. The manual fan I had helped with the heat more than this one did. I fully-charged it after that brief test, then the morning after, I left it by my desk with the fan speed on level 2 and it died after 4-5 hours. I also briefly compared it to another brand, MERTTUMM, which is a little more expensive than this one, because the two models look completely identical. MERTTUMM definitely had a stronger fan (but it's noisier) and lasted longer than this one. The folding of the fan also feels flimsy compared to MERTTUMM. Wouldn't recommend getting this product. It's better to invest in a more expensive handheld fan as long as it does its job.
