Decline in quality and no longer worth the price
I purchased this item last year and repurchased it as a gift this year. The quality is not what it was originally. The handles are a cheap plastic and comparable to a set you’d find at a discount store. I regret purchasing them, wrapping them, and gifting them. They are horribly cheap.

Great for the money
Great item for a low price! It’s not a set of knives for a lifetime but they really don’t need any special care. Throw them in the dishwasher, no problem! They are not cheap and flimsy. I like them

Chef's knife review: Sharp blade and cuts tough meat well, but that's all
This is a review of the chef's knife only. It was sold separately and now the link points to this page.Pros:- The blade is sharp.- Cuts tough meat well.Cons:- Blade often slides over tomatoes etc, doesnt have the natural edge to break skin.- The worst thing about this knife is that recently chopped pieces stick to the side of the blade. This makes chopping a pain, and double chopping (eg. onions) an extreme pain.I continue to use my older blunter knives and use this only when the others are in the wash. A chef's knife cannot simply be sharp; it ought to be better designed.

Great for gifts too!
Theses knives are very sharp and easy to hold. I love this set! This will be my go-to set for wedding gifts in the future!
